Hello Kerbonauts! This contest is officially over as of 12:00am PT. Thank you to all that participated. It's been a lot of fun watching you all figure out the clues and share your screenshots with us. Also, congrats to those who have accomplished new KSP milestones while participating in this contest! We're happy to hear that the contest inspired you to take on new challenges and explore new areas. 

All entries have been gathered for review. Winners will be announced on Monday, July 5th. 

While the hunt for these five easter eggs is over, there's still more easter eggs hidden in the 1.12 update. We hope that you'll continue to explore the solar system and see if you can find them all. Good luck!

None of the easter eggs require DLC to obtain, just the 1.12 update. Keep looking! You can do it!

If you are using your own logo that you created and that you own, that's totally fine! You just can't use a flag that has another video game character, tv show character, brand logo, etc. on it.

Since your profile pic is a copyrighted character, you would not be able to use your profile picture as a flag in your submission(s) for this contest.

There are more than five easter eggs, but only five are part of this contest. (And we haven't posted all five hints yet!) You'll want to make sure that the five you are submitting are the same five that we're posting hints for, as screenshots of the other easter eggs will not be considered as valid entries.

That is correct, if there are 20 or less entrants, then everyone would receive a squishy as long as their entries are valid.

Nope! You only need to find at least one of them to be eligible. You'll get one entry for each easter egg you find, with five being the max number of entries you can get. More info can be found in the full contest rules listed here: http://bit.ly/ksp10egghuntrules

Side note: Any easter eggs other than the five we are giving hints for are not part of this contest, and pictures of those easter eggs will not count as valid entries toward this contest.

Correct, you'll want to ensure you're only submitting the five easter eggs that we give hints for. Any other easter eggs submitted would not be considered valid entries.

We're still adding engines to our part roster, and here's a peek at one that's still in the early whitebox phase -- we still haven't come up with a Kerbal-fied name for this LOX-Augmented Nuclear Thermal Rocket (or LANTR). Super NERV? SNERV? Suggestions welcome!

A few details for our forum friends: This is a 2.5m part that, like the new NERV, runs on liquid hydrogen fuel. This engine also has a hidden talent: liquid oxygen can be injected into the nozzle to create a high-thrust mode, and its vacuum nozzle can be retracted for use in atmosphere.

To celebrate our 10th Anniversary, we’ve scattered several easter eggs throughout the solar system in the 1.12 PC update. Throughout the next week we’ll be posting hints on where five (5) of these easter eggs can be located, and we’re challenging you to embark on a mission to find them all!



To successfully participate in this contest, you’ll need to:

• Have the 1.12 PC update installed, then log in to Kerbal Space Program to find the five hidden “easter eggs” throughout the game. 
   
• Keep an eye on our social media posts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. We’ll post a total of five (5) #KSP10egghunt hints on which easter eggs you’ll need to find and where you’ll find them.
   
• Reply to this post with a screenshot* (or link to the screenshot) containing the easter egg you found along with a Kerbal and your unique custom flag. Instructions on how to make a custom flag can be found HERE. *Please mark your screenshots as spoilers.
