I am (was) playing a sandbox playthrough right now and I can't even play the game anymore. I run the game as usual, I get the main menu with options to resume my game, start a new game, training scenarios, etc. I click Resume and try to resume my save, but KSP closed on me after I clicked it. Now, I have a feeling that this may be related to two (2) crash issues I had this week. The first one was a few days ago. It happened when I was flying my Duna expeditionary vessel and I had about 50 other active flights. My delta-V margins were pretty slim so I sent an engineer out on EVA to remove stuff that I didn't need. These don't get classified as debris but are considered unknown objects instead. I tried going into the tracking station to delete them but the game crashed there. I assumed that it was the game getting overloaded going from ~50 objects to 90+ in a span of about 5 minutes. I know it was more than 90 objects because the next time I played my save the following day, it said that I had more than 90 flights active. I went into the tracking station and destroyed those objects, bringing them back down to around 50 flights. The second time was also the day after the first crash. I delete all the unknown objects in the tracking station successfully and go back to fly around Kerbin because I recently installed Kerbin Side Remastered and wanted to check the new launch sites out. I spawned a plane from the SPH and flew to my first destination just south of the Island Runway. It wasn't showing up on my launch sites list so I did some rejigging there with Kerbal Konstructs. It probably saved. However, my plane crashed and lost its engines taking off to continue on my journey, so I decided to recover it. The game crashed again a few seconds after I clicked "Recover" from the top menu bar. That brings us to today, where I have 52 flights currently active (1 is probably that plane that crashed). I booted up KSP as usual, hit resume, and tried to play with my save, but the game crashed then and there without me ever seeing the space center. All these crashes have been almost instant, like the game doesn't know it's actually crashing—no pinwheeling mouse cursor, no white screen, no "KSP.exe has crashed and needs to restart!" messages at all. What's going on here? I have more than 100 mods, but that shouldn't be the cause here, right? I would provide my log file but it's more than 13 million characters and 92,000 lines long. I can't paste it anywhere without issue, so if anybody knows how to upload that, I'll edit this post accordingly.

Can someone help me with manual installation? I'm used to having a GameData folder but since the downloads don't have that, I'm not sure where to put them. Does the KerbinSideRemastered folder go in GameData or does it or its contents go elsewhere?

I'm a bit confused here going through the pages since May. How many updates have there been to Tantares since the start of April? One or two? Is there a changelog somewhere that I missed in the OP?

Spacedock says that this was just updated. What's the update? The most recent thing in the changelog is from May 2020.

Does this still work with 1.12? I'd hate to see what was a great mod go to waste in 2024.

What exactly is the Hera Grapple Robotic Arm supposed to do? I tried testing it in LKO but the PAW only has "arm" and "disarm". Is it just cosmetic?

I'm seeing 2 CFG files there, one for IVA and one that says "more crew". I assume that the "more crew" CFG adds IVAs the same as the regular one, but increases crew capacities?

Question about the PEBKAC LES system since I couldn't find an answer in this thread: what's the difference between the regular Abort! mode and Abort Mode 1A in action groups? Presumably Abort Mode 1B is the same as the real Apollo Abort Mode 1B where the LES tower doesn't fire its pitch motor since the stack is high enough.

I'm running 1.12.5 and my textures look like this. Any help with this? Did KSP updates between 1.3 and 1.12 bork the texture model or am I missing something else?

I figured out the problem. I need to right-click the sidebar button. Now to find out how to rebind it to left clicking.

I have a slight issue with version 2.4.5.3 where the sidebar button shows up as usual but isn't clickable. No more ability to show trajectories for me, so I've reverted back to 2.4.5.2.

[1.12.5] Cormorant Aeronology - Mk3 Space Shuttle

EDIT: I forgot to install the Firespitter .dll. That took care of things but the ST-25 Toelle still doesn't get delta-V calculations. I have some issues with the mod. I don't know if it's because I'm missing some dependency I don't know about. My steps for installing the mod were: Downloading Shuttle Lifting Body Copying the Cormorant Aeronology folder into GameData Downloading Mk. 3 Block II Dragging the cormorant_Shuttle folder from the Assets folder in Mk. 3 Block II into GameData Issues (I also forgot that the nose RCS cluster doesn't have selectable meshes between the STS orbiter configuration and Buran despite the description saying so):- 2,359 replies

So, if I need to install the Extras folder, where would I put its contents? In the same folder as TweakScale or a new one?

You know, I think this mod or one of its included dependencies screws up TweakScale because the stock Hydraulic Detachment Manifold automatically scales down to 10 percent size. This only happened after I installed the mod and its dependencies and the problem remains after uninstalling.
