    There was some discussion of animal testing earlier in the game's development. Squad decided to keep things light and gave us the goo pod instead, so this isn't likely to happen. It's intended to be the equivalent of Laika and chimps. Personally, I prefer things this way.

    Some posts have been edited or removed from this thread. On the one hand, modmakers update when and if they feel like it. Bugging them to do it only tends to irritate them, so please allow them to update at their own pace. On the other hand, if you see a post bugging a modmaker for an update, please do not get into an argument with that person, because that just makes things unpleasant for everyone. Instead, just hit the report button on the post and let us moderators deal with it.

    Modders update when they can, and when they want to. Request for updates, however well-intentioned, can feel like harassment, so please let them work at their own pace.

    We actually had a huge fight about this on the forum a couple of years ago, and it turned into a nasty mess. We had to give out a lot of infractions, and I think a couple of people even got banned from the forum for remarks made in the heat of anger. The upshot of it all was that Werner von Kerman stayed as a reference to the real person's contributions to spaceflight, and whatever else he may or may not have done was beyond the scope of this game and forum. Let's please leave it at that.

    I used a rover equipped with a claw to transfer fuel from my mining ships to my other craft, but it was somewhat laborious.
