  1. Sorry @Darth Jeb, but this thread is nearly 2 years old, and it doesn't look like it will be updated. We can unlock the thread if the OP contacts us and wants to update it.
  2. More specifics would help this challenge.
  3. And since the majority of the posts are not related to the game anymore, why don't we just slide this thread on over to The Lounge.
  4. Since this is not about KSP itself, the thread has been moved to The Lounge.
  5. Some posts have been removed from this thread. Can't we please just be happy for Sandworm without getting into politics and ideologies?
  6. @Zed0010this thread is quite old, Kerbalstuff was shut down by its owner months ago, and the mod appears to be a dead issue. Sorry about that.
  7. This is a good idea, @shadragon. It's such a good idea what we've created a master thread for this frequently-proposed idea, and your thread has been merged into it.
  8. A pair of threads about this same mission have been merged.
  9. I'm sorry to poop the party, but I regret that I must call your attention to this announcement, pinned at the top of The Lounge.
  10. It's really puzzling that this subject is igniting so much anger on the forum today, but please take it down a few notches. Some posts here have been removed or edited to move the discussion toward a calmer and less personal level.
  11. Some posts have been removed from this thread because an argument was getting rather heated. Some people don't like the new engines and some people do, they aren't in their final form anyway (if I understand correctly), and there's more than engines to be hyped in this hype thread. So let's get back to hyping, please.
  12. Overlapping threads have been merged.
  13. I respect their commitment to avoiding contamination, but it seems like an excess of caution to me. Life on earth has indeed adapted to extreme conditions, but evolution takes time to adjust, whereas any potential rover hitchhikers in this instance would be dumped straight into horribly inhospitable conditions, and the first generation would need to survive to propagate before evolution could begin its work. Besides which, anything that may have been on the rover when it left earth is almost certainly already dead after having been exposed to the conditions of the interplanetary transit and subsequent prolonged stay on Mars. Eh, but good on 'em for being ethical and responsible.
  14. Some posts have been removed from this thread. Please stop telling others what they should and shouldn't talk about. If a thread displeases you, just click on to the next one.
  15. Spaceplanes are mainly made for the challenge. They deliver far less payload for the same launch size. The craft may be fully recoverable, if you're playing career and concerned about costs, but you'll still need to use a rocket to put anything really sizeable in space.
  16. Apparently, the topic does not say all that needs to be said. What is terratech and how might it relate to KSP?
  17. It looks like it's time for one of those perioidic reminders that we'd like to reserve this thread for actual member questions about the forum software and policy. If it gets all joked up, they can't find the answers to their questions.
  18. Why don't we let someone who actually knows what the forum software's limitations are answer this question? @KasperVld?
