[1.3.0] OPT Space Plane v2.0.1 - updated 29/07/2017
Stone Blue replied to K.Yeon's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Heh... I guess not very recentley...lol -
Liking the C-5 cockpit biggly... Just a small note: any chance to slow down the animation a little?.... The first time the ramp deploys (before you can get the proper height/deploy limit set), if its on a low-to-the-ground plane, it slams HARD into the ground, and throws the craft into the air, and sometimes causes explosions... Maybe try to match it to the stock rear Mk3 ramp, at least? But other than that, it looks freaking awesome

Weird conflict with another mod, maybe?.... Or, do you have RPM installed also?... I was getting a TONE more errors with RPM installed... enough so, that I found Hullcam practically useless...
-
Hey stali, Huh... I just installed Hullcam and gave it a try... BOTH aerocams do in fact load in the editor, AND both do indeed work for me... Altho I'm getting a couple dozen errs in the KSP.log from the mod... Most related to not being able to find the Hullcam and JSI external cam selector part modules...And no RESOURCE definitions... And, no, I've seen other mods have SEVERAL parts defined in one config... The PART defs shouldnt conflict with one another, as long as all the brackets are properly paired...

How much space does KSP take up on your hard drive
Stone Blue replied to DoctorDavinci's topic in KSP1 Discussion
If youre not sure you want to delete old installs, what I do is, delete everything in the KSP_win folder, EXCEPT the folders pictured: I also delete ONLY the Squad folder in the GameData... Basically, you want to delete EVERYTHING that gets installed in a fresh, stock game, and only keep mods/saves/ships, etc... Then I take what's left and unique to that install, and .zip it all up into one archive... If I ever want to go back and play it again, I just have to unzip the relevant install package (I keep all versions of KSP), for a fresh install, and then unzip/merge my "save" .zip on top of it... Instant, palyable, old install, with all the mods/saves/ships/screenshots/etc as they were... Zipping up only the relevant bits, and deleting everything else, saves a TON of HDD space... That KSP install pictured, was about a 2.2GB folder... (~1GB for stock game, + the ~1.14GB of mods/ships/etc)... WHen I was done, I was left with just one 445MB .zip... -
I just checked...and... The part.cfg for the "aerocam", actually has TWO part definitions in it: one for the regular aerocam, and one for the aerocam180... Scroll down in the .cfg... you'll see the ~180's PART definition in the bottom half of the .cfg... It SHOULD show up in the editor as its own part, IIRC...??
-
Uh... what happened to the aerocam180 part?... i thought that part was specifically set to have the view flipped 180°? Exactly for thsi reason?
-
Oops... I may have mispoken about Image Viewer... I guess I cant remember whether it supports viewing in RPM or not... However, i DO remember that Agises had some pretty detailed instructions somewhere on how he integrated the Notes MFD...

Hmmm... no... However, idk if it would help, and if you havent already seen it, but agises' "Notes" and "Image Viewer" mods add a custom MFD screen for itself... idk if reverse engineering it may give insight? http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/55625 http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/77970 .

How much space does KSP take up on your hard drive
Stone Blue replied to DoctorDavinci's topic in KSP1 Discussion
For those interested in EXACT numbers, (at least on Windows), you can open Explorer and select your KSP folder, and right-click... At bottom of the menu, click "Properties"... That will give you size on disk, as well as number of sub-folders and files... Pics: -

[1.2.X] [Kopernicus] Planet Cyran
Stone Blue replied to The White Guardian's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
The link for the DDS plugin is for an OLD version... Try THIS one:http://libregraphicsworld.org/blog/entry/normalmap-and-dds-plug-ins-updated-for-gimp-2.8 And if anyone doesnt want to install GIMP, ONLY for the DDS conversioning, theres this standalone app that still works: https://github.com/Telanor/DDS4KSP CHeck the README at the bottom of the page. -
Nice... For hatches for your labs, making hatches/ladders are pretty easy... This may help if you havent seen it before: http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Adding_Airlocks_and_Ladders_to_Parts

[Minimum KSP: 1.12.2] Heisenberg - Airships Part Pack
Stone Blue replied to Angelo Kerman's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I know this is old, but on the main page for the Firespitter download (NOT the forum thread), there is a button for "Plugin Only" ... that will get you just the DLL, without having to even download, then having to delete the rest of the mod... -
looks AWESOME.... Can I ask, are you using regular KSP shaders, or maybe PBR shaders on that?
-
Yup... Thw WildBlue Tools download is just for the Tools itself, and is generally, i believe, meant for other mod devs to to grab WBT, for use/incorporation/research into making their OWN mods... WildBlue Tools is packaged already in all of Angel's mods... So, yeah, "users" dont have to worry about grabbing WBT seperately... Also, IIRC, he makes sure to keep the mods/WBT versions synced up, so, I beleieve when you install more than one of his mods at the same time, its OK to let the WBT folder be overwritten...
