I agree, Ive always edited the cfgs to juice-up the EC consumption.... I luv my solar panels...And I also luv symmetry, and a balanced CoM... so most of the time, I end up with much more EC production than I need, so I uice-up the antennas, lights, and other little things that can be "always" on, but not really mission critical, ust to make things more challenging...

@ZooNamedGames yeah, you had a valid point/topic when you first posted... You should have kept quiet after your first couple replies... lol Now you're just shooting yourself in the foot. Yeah, VITAS has quite a long list of Issues/Requests on the Git repo to look at... Many are quite old, and I would rather see all that get addressed before worrying about setting up structure on the site to separate, or remove these types of mods that may/may not be of any value in someone's eyes. The most that I think might help for the types of things that ARE not by true definition a mod, is maybe to add a "Report Submission" button or something... But beyond that, I dont think its a big enough issue (yet)... And even that I think is not as a high a priority as things already mentioned on the Git repo. Anyway, I think you've made your original point, and now youre just digging yourself a hole, and this thread is quickly losing value and just becoming a baby-diaper-mess fest...

Just wondering why this thread is still active?... Wouldnt it be best to to start putting all the newer information, (since a lot has changed since 0.23 PartTools), into THIS thread, or maybe start a fresh one?... Also, is everyone still using the 1.1.2 PartTools, or the PartTools from the Porkjet Overhauls? Is anyone actually still even using the 0.23 PartTools?

You need Unity v5.4.x.... Basically, you make your model in Blender, make your textures in an image editing program, install the KSP PartTools in Unity, then use Unity to put it all together, and Unity will convert everything into a .mu file useable by KSP. There are also FREE versions of every program you need to get from start to finish. That being said, there are already very many good tutorials and threads in the forums, that will give specifics for every step of the way... You just need to search for them and READ them. (Many even have excellent video tutorials)

I actually ust made one for the Telemachus mod... I'm also the one who made the OPT antenna. I have a few ideas for a couple more antennas, and also considering reviving some other KSP modded antennas, and releasing them as a small "antenna" pack.. its on the backburner right now, tho... as I still have to dig into how the stock antenna system works, as well as how the new version of RT works... I do have to say I agree, and this irks me too. @katateochi, the dev behind the KerbalX site itself, has even made a KSP mod, to make it easy to upload/download crafts, DIRECTLY FROM IN-GAME: I'm not sure what @VITAS 's feelings are on this type of upload... Not sure if there is a "Report Submission" or "mod" button on SpaceDock, to help weed out questionable uploads?

Which, I believe is built on the FS modules...?? While theres practically zero documentation for IFS, at least its being actively developed and maintained, IIRC, and not on life support like FS basically is...?? For this one, you COULD use Diazo's LandingHeight mod... Its a simple, single .dll file, and ALL it does is change the stock altitude indicator, to display altitude from the lowest part on the craft... Once installed, you never have to do anything, and dont even know its there...

Its becuase you ended up with a /GameData/GameData/AviationLights/ folder, instead of ust /GameData/AviationLights/ All the parts .cfgs use the new mesh MODULE, EXCEPT the Red Beacon, which for some reason got missed, and still uses the old mesh = def. Then you can completely ignore the thread and any replies, and only update the link in the OP as needed... OR, use a generic link that will never change... yea I use several windows, too... I used to line them up vertically right along the right-side screen edge, becuase it was the longest edge with the most space... But now that they changed the stock bar to that edge, I have to line my windows up along the 5 buttons that are in the corner, and now my windows stick further out into "play" area, and I have a large, wide, worthless, annoying portion of window going to waste, from the bottom of the stock bar, up near the top of the screen, down to the bottom corner... Stock bar sux... yet another example of Squad trying to "copy"/integrate a popular mod into the stock game, and hopelessly screwing it up
