Huh, had Benjee10_Orion filtered to be the only mod and couldn't find a radial decoupler.
-
What could have been. Also, @benjee10 could we get the original SLS paint scheme? The white metal or at least striped white sofi? Also also, am I crazy, or is there no decoupler for the SRBs included in the mod, making us rely on ReDIRECT's decoupler?

[1.12.5] Cormorant Aeronology - Mk3 Space Shuttle
GoldForest replied to Pak's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
It does not have native waterfall support. Someone might have made a config to add it, but you'll have to find it, or wait for them to contact you.- 2,351 replies

Just stealing parts now are we @benjee10, hmmm? How scandalous! On a serious note, I don't blame you. Those are all great parts after all, and it will cut down the update time significantly. Did Rogerwang give Benjee the rights to Kertemis and then you offered to update the EUS textures?
-
The EUS isn't in BDB. Until we do get EUS in ACK, the Kertemis mod does have one as an addon for Redirect.

I was just joking around, but they do have some similiarities. Both have upper stages that are larger in diameter than their 1st/core stage. Both have long skinny 1st/core stages. Both have hydrogen powered upper stages The only real difference is Ares I has an SRB and not a liquid engine, and the diameters are different.
-
I didn't. The redirect ICPS interstage is too short, the engine clips into the main tank. To stop this, I attach the Ares I instrument unit on the ICPS then attach the interstage to the Ares I IU. The IU can't be decoupled tho, but I can live with that.

I mostly did it to give me more reason to share an SLS besides ICPS tbh. And Pyrios was considered for both Crew and Cargo, but lost out to SRBs, idk why though. If I had to guess, SRBs carry more thrust with them for the same if not lower weight? There's also the fact that SRBs need no plumbing at all, and in the case of SLS, no electrical connection safe for the starters, thus making the launch tower cheaper to build and maintain. Though, IMO I'm a fan of Pyrios. More so for the F-1B than anything else. (Also, I wonder if anyone will spot the problem with the Pyrios boosters I used.)

Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet Did a flyby of the Mun. Unfortunately, no return pics due to a staging mishap... namely me accidentally hitting space and caught the capsule to detach from the SM. @benjee10 SLS remake for ReDirect or SLS addon for ARK when? Gotta keep the ball rolling!

Hey! Timer traveler! You posted your picks 3 hours early! SLS hasn't launched yet! lol, but seriously, that almost looks like a real photograph.

I doubt we would, since the modding community imo is what kept KSP alive this whole time. Do you think Skyrim or Fallout 4 would still be around without their modding communities? No. They wouldn't. I truly believe they wouldn't. The same can be said about KSP. 8/10 videos I see on YouTube of KSP are either mod gameplays or mod reviews. But we're getting off topic, so let's agree to disagree and leave it at that. Returning to the topic, life support should be up to the modders imo. If the devs want to add a simple easy to use life support system into the base game that can be turned on and off, I'm all for that. But if they make it mandatory, I think it would turn some people off from the game.

What @Master39 said. Also, consoles can have mods too, look at Fallout. You can even get unofficial mods for consoles, though I don't recommend them for the risks involved. Also, asking a game to take away modding when it's the BIGGEST part of the game is kind of like asking smartphones makers to take away internet access. It just doesn't make sense, nor work out. True, that's why I'm okay with a simple life support system in game, but an expanded code base under the hood that the base game doesn't really touch and is more there just for modders.
