I haven't been there in a very long time, and that was with quantum vacuum thrusters from the old KSP Interstellar (before it was contunued). RocketSquid Posted September 4, 2016 Share Posted September 4, 2016 We've landed on Tylo, also known as The Giant Jerk Rock, Airless Annoying Kerbin, Oversized Mun, Don't Land There, and Gosh Darn It! Of course, takeoff may well be harder than landing. I would recommend the lowest possible orbit, since you'll use less fuel on inefficient radial/anti-radial burns. Depending on how far you can roll, it might actually work to point prograde and burn horizontally along the ground until you can get a high enough apoapsis. I now want to do as few Tylo landings as I possibly can. Once Bill has the boat fueled up again we'll see how fast I can get 'er to roll using RCS thrusters.
