Need a Snowmobile, but all you have is a old Ford Model A? Don't fear, your problems are only in the begining…  :P

The origin of the half-track? Half-track was very common during WW 2 but then disappeared. Germany even had half track motorcycles.
Googled it and no this is an copycat but build on the same idea.
Some tractors used in logging has the option to add running wheels in front and rear of rear wheel and become an half track, you can use the breaks on an tractor to do tank steering anyways.

IU-59 Nuclear Explosion Imitator was a drum with 120 kg of TNT and a "pyrotechnic composition" that would produce a very convincing mushroom cloud (and potentially kill or injure anyone within 200 m in a decidedly non-imitative fashion).

It appears the Russian military is less enthusiastic about such earth-shaking training aides. Kavkaz-2020 featured... this:

Its not very hard to make an mushroom cloud. Back then I was in the army in Norway as an engineer we had some days blowing stuff up. Rock, reinforced concrete, wood and steel.
First time we would redraw to an wooden cabin after setting all the charges, then set them off and inspect the effect. My favorite until the end was an 2 kg shaped charge I put on an over an cubic meter large rock, the rock was gone.

We did multiple rounds of explosions, and to round it out they dug an 2 meter deep hole in a bog, put perhaps 70 kg of explosives in it, filled back up and we moved to an safe distance before setting it off.
We got an very nice mushroom cloud out of it from all the bog thrown up in the air, and we got fallout. the cloud of bog water drifted away then rained down on a poor guy told to do guard duty and then forgotten, now it lacked the fireball who you don't get from high explosives anyway but is standard for films as it looks good and very safe compared to high explosives, an can of gasoline and a 100 gram of high explosives gives an impressive fireball and you can scale this up. It makes it more dangerous.
US use of fuel air bombs clearing mines during first golf war had the French calling back that the US has used nukes, might be 50 ton explosive effect so understandable

Frankly it looks like the creation of a movie prop master or a polygon-starved game designer.

Did you ever saw a 14 ammo .12 gauge? :)

de Havilland Airco DH-9 . They called it a "faster bomber", and to save whatever mass they could, this thing doesn't have an engine starter.

Don't let your engine choke in flight!

What makes this (unique) sample so interesting is that it was found on an elephant stable in India (essentially, a barn!) and it's now the only known sample in existence.

Yet more interesting is how this thing's engine was started. I didn't found a YouTube video for it, but found one for the DH-4 (go to 0:22 for it)

For people with Facebook account, here's the link for a video where a DH-9 is started using the starter cart (SR-71 wasn't the first!):

One of Moscow suburban developments, dubbed La Manche for whatever reason, decided to use a plywood submarine in a hastily dug-out lake as their promotional stunt.

Some years later, it's fit to cause wide eyes and dropped jaws among unaware passers-by.
