Plume scaling breaks in any engine with more than one nozzle and at the 6th effect transform on an RCS thruster. Plume Party is mutually exclusive with ReStock. I have used Restock + Plume Party + ReDirect before, thought it was a long time ago. (before SOCK was even a concept) I will test all this tomorrow in a sandbox save if nobody else solves your issue before then, and even then I probably still will as I want to start using RealPlume in my install. PlumeParty is not like real plume, the main component of PlumeParty is quite simple, it contains a set of particle FX models and textures for modders to use to make "stock" plumes. PlumeParty is a hard dependency for Benjees mods because his engines use PlumeParty FX in the main part CFG for standard plumes (non real plumes). The version of plume party included with reDirect also has some configs that apply these plumes to the stock engines. They are not compatible with restock as restock changes a few things around with respect to the plume transforms and such. HOWEVER, the patches have a :NEEDS[!Restock] in them. In other words, they will NOT interfere with stock engines if ReStock is detected. "Mutually exclusive" in the sense that PlumeParty is not meant to apply to ReStock engines but there is no conflict. Nothing should break. Put very simply there should not be a problem having ReStock, PlumeParty, reDirect and SOCK all installed together. 2) Everything above is irrelevant when using RealPlume as RealPlume overwrites all of that with its own expanding smokescreen plumes. The problem with RealPlume and ReStock is due to the fact that the differences in plume transforms need to be accounted for in the real plume stock configs. Unfortunately the maintainer of real plume stock configs has been away for a while. However, Vladimir-CSP has made a fix that accounts for these which you can get here. https://github.com/Vladimir-csp/RealPlume-StockConfigs Just install real plume, smokescreen, and get stock configs from that link. Most things should look OK then. 3) I am working on a long term solution for ReStock and RealPlume in coordination with someone who has access to the Realism Overhaul repository (where realPlume stock configs is) but thats still a work in progress and a little while away. Vladimirs fix makes adjustments to existing real plumes so they look right but I am working on bringing All New plumes using all new FX for restock. All of these changes will be done on the RealPlume/RealPlume-StockConfigs side. ps. 4) the warning about plume scaling in PlumeParty applies to all effects using the stock plume system. Not something you as an end user need to worry about unless you are yourself making configs for parts with lots of nozzles. And yes, I completely clean reinstalled KSP 1.7.3 with both DLC and Restock and Restock+. After searching on google, it seems others have similar problems and after searching for the mentioned files, I have found them in "/GameData/Squad/zDeprecated/". So yes, before an other one wants to "denounce" me to the "Moderation Team", it's not a problem of how I installed it. These Errors exists, because the files aren't in the right folder... I just want to help and wanted to ask, how to deal with this errors. --- Sorry for my english, it's only my third language. There are about 20 threads on pages 1 and 2 of this forum right now where you've posted the same log and said that various mods are broken because of missing files. Other people in those threads don't seem to be having problems. That by itself should be a sign that maybe there is something wrong with your installation, and your sentence above comes across as a little arrogant because of that. Some mods may have bugs, but if you're going to mass-report problems, you should do some more troubleshooting of the individual mods, preferably in isolation. I did not "post one big log with lots of unrelated errors across lots of mod threads" I reported in the threads only the logged errors, of that mod! And I never said that these mods are broken, but I questioned if the logged errors are problematic or can be ignored. Only because it seems to "work fine", it doesn't mean that this errors aren't logged. And I did "some more troubleshooting of the individual mods, preferably in isolation" and wrote my findings down! And like you could read in the other threads, it's not my fault, but mostly just older errors, many, but not all, can be ignored. And you see my posts "everywhere", because I'm making a new install of KSP after more than 12 months and want to make everything as good as possible, so I work hard for it and write it down for others, too. But it's good that you also posted the ReStock-specific messages here, and relevant portions of other logs in other threads. What I was reacting to was mainly noticing that a majority of the threads on the first page said their last post was by N3N, and they mostly had the same copied/pasted text saying that there are errors because of missing files. Usually when someone has a bunch of mods logging errors about missing files, it's because they installed wrong, so that's the impression it gives to me and probably many others — particularly since I use ReStock and I've never seen the errors you reported. (I don't use most of the other mods you posted about, though, so I haven't looked closely at the problems with those.) If you actually have done a bunch of investigation on all the messages in your logs, that's good, and I don't want to discourage you from doing that. I'm not trying to accuse you of being lazy. It could very well be that a bunch of mods have harmless errors, and it looks like some people have said so in a few other mod threads. But the way you reported them all at once gives the impression that it's an installation problem, even if you claimed otherwise. I just wanted to try to resolve the errors or at-least to know, if they are harmless. And that with the "denounce" was probably really a little too hard in english and that was not indented by me, but I had messages from the moderators, that some members of the forums tried "to go against me"... So, yeah, I was just intimidated by that, even when I tried my best and tried to provide as much information as possible to resolve the "problem". Some of the changes I really loved, namely most of the fuel tanks and some of the engines like the Twin Boar. Given that fuel tanks make up the majority of an average rocket (hah), the visual improvement really goes a long way. Clipping fixes for things like the Z-4K battery are also great to have. On the other hand, I hated the "foiled" parts like the HECS2 probe core and toroidal fuel tanks, and I found the stock Vector (specifically the plume) to be much more true to the RS-25 SSME than the Restock version. I also really, really, really dislike the Restock version of the Aerodynamic Nose Cone: Left: Stock, Right: Restock. The stock nose cone and Mk3 Cockpit are flush with each other, making a beautiful and smooth aerodynamic line, but the Restock version ruins it. Yes it's minor, but I find great pleasure in these small details lining up. Overall, I wish Restock was modular so I could easily pick and choose what I want from it. There's a lot of good and a lot of disagreeable stuff in here. I also wish Restock+ didn't have a hard dependency on Restock, because those parts (obviously) scratch an itch that stock (and even a lot of stockalike mods) doesn't. I always wondered why Squad didn't just add a variant to the Mk3 cockpit, one with the 1.25m node, and one with a perfectly smooth and stumpy nosecone. At least as far as I know. More info can be found on this page of the ReStock wiki. Some one who knows more about how it works can probably help you if you run into trouble.
