Hello. I'm @Dr. Kerbal. I am  posting this message and I have a plan for my SSTO. It probably wont be successful though. Which is really sad. :(  I now realized that for an SSTO that it should have lots of engine on it. It should probably get up to speed really fast. So I'm assuming that 8 rappier engines on the back, 4 on the wings, and 4 more on the side of the SSTO. And maybe lots of wings. And then Ill add a whichplash and a 4 nuclear engine.   But I will have to test this.  This is just my thinking.

Hello everyone. My name is @Dr. Kerbal. I have been making YouTube videos for a while (actually since Febuary 2021). I have played KSP since 2020 and have been to all the celestial bodies. I have seen them in person. This is a sneakpeak-ish thing about this week's KSP video I plan to make. I think I can send an SSTO to Laythe. And maybe Pol. I should not bite off more than I can chew. So. Previous news on the MEGATHREAD is not official. There just rough plans and ideas.  I plan to send a Mark 3 size SSTO to Laythe with mods on. I plan to use Kerbal Engineer, Scatter,  Planetshine, Astronomers Visual Pack, and Camera Tools. I'm have to look which one has clouds because last time I used a visual KSP had a hard time running for some reason and my PC was on fire. Almost. It was hot to touch. I might just use Better TimeWarp, Camera Tools, and Kerbal Engineer instead as they dont fry my computer. But I'm sidetracking. The SSTO I plan to build an SSTO and it has to reach over 100m/s on the runway. The reason for this is because I need to gain speed and all the other MK3 SSTO have this problem. Speed. So I plan to put like 14 rappeirs on it, 4 nucelars, and a whishplash engine. I might look like one of @Matt Lowne's SSTOs but Ill try my best to come up with something new. And with new techniques I'm trying, I'm trying to make this SSTO VERY aerodynamic so I can gain enough velocity. Fingers crossed that I make it and it works. Fingers crossed. :) :) :)

Kerbal Space Program (commonly KSP) is a space flight simulator game in which the player directs a space program run by the Kerbals, a cartoonish race of little green humanoids. Their space program operates from the Kerbal Space Center (KSC) on the planet Kerbin, sending craft out into a scaled-down analogue of the real-life solar system (though with significant differences). KSP suggests various goals in the form of contracts, but the sandbox nature of the game allows players to set and attain their own goals in variously “Kerbal” ways (read: ridiculously impractical and/or catastrophe-prone).

Play centers on building and piloting craft. In the editor, parts can be combined in many ways, resulting in craft possessing various operational capabilities. Players then launch and pilot them across terrestrial surfaces, through atmospheres, and — most of all — in orbital transfers between the celestial bodies of what is unofficially called the Kerbol System.

There are different game modes. In most of them the player can perform Science! And in full Career mode, players make decisions about various administrative aspects of the Kerbal Space Program while juggling program resources such as funds and reputation, and unlocking parts.

Hello everyone. My name is @Dr. Kerbal. I have been making YouTube videos for a while (actually since Febuary 2021). I have played KSP since 2020 and have been to all the celestial bodies.  Now I will resume my endless talk about my plan sending an MK3 SSTO to Laythe. In this "Sneakpeak" we will go over the flight plan. Gravity Assists, encounters, yady yad yady. The stuff. 

  1. Launch
  2. At 1,000m pitch up to 45 degrees
  3. At 10,000m slowly and statedly pitch to 20 degrees
  4.  At 30,000m activate nuclear engines
  5.  At 35,000m activate rappeirs rocket mode
  6. At 40,000m deactivate reapiers
  7. At 80,000m get into orbit
  8. Using a Mun gravity assist to get to Minmus
  9. Orbit Minmus
  10. Land
  11. Refuel.
  12. Leave and decrease periapsis to 70,010m
  13. Burn at periapsis until escape velocity reached
  14. Encounter Kerbin multiple times until apoapsis intersects Jool
  15.  Encounter Jool and raise periapsis to about the same as apoapsis
  16.  Wait for another Jool encounter
  17. Do a Laythe gravity assits and Aerobrake
  18. Get into LLO (Low Laythe Orbit) 
  19. Select landing target
  20. Land
  21. Plant flag.
  22. Wait for Lathe to Tylo transfer window
  23. Leave
  24. Go into LLO
  25. GO to Tylo
  26. Do a Tylo gravity assist to intersect Pol
  27.  Orbit Pol
  28. Land on Pol
  29. Refuel
  30. Wait for Jool to Kerbin transfer window and Pol to Tylo Transfer window
  31. Leave Pol
  32. Tylo gravity assit
  33. Intersect Kerbin
  34. Kerbin Aerobrake/ Gravity Assits until orbit alsmost mathes Kerbin
  35. Kerbin encounter
  36. Aerobrake
  37. Go into LKO
  38. Land at KSC

The reason why I dont do a Kerbin to Eve because I want to see If I can get to Jool apoapsis more efficiently just using Kerbin. :)
