The name of the game is “What is it?”

The rules:

1. Player 1 posts an image of an item with 0 information given as a hint. Below the image they then ask: What is it?

2. No reverse image searches, please keep guesses fair.

3. Anyone who knows what the item is may confirm the answer upon a correct guess. After that the person who guesses correctly starts us over with a new item image.

4. All forum rules apply as well.

5. If after more than a full 24 hours the object in question has not been named, the OP of said object may reveal the answer.

Lets start!

@Deddly @Gargamel im not sure how to feel here, but wow I feel old.
Deddly is incorrect in “home video” and Gargamel is incorrect in that it is for negatives. It does project, it does use 35mm. I really want to give a hint but I cant. All I can do is the partial confirmations of: Projector, Film and 35mm. Keep guessing guys!

Its a very specific kind of projector. Im kinda proud to have stumped you guys. The answer: Film Strip Projector. These things were legit one of the best thing we could see as students in the 80’s get rolled into class second only to the tv cart because then you KNEW it was time for Reading Rainbow!

Ok, since I stumped yall, lets go again!

Well, my answer was right.   It projected 35mm film rolls.

That’s a key to wind up a mechanical device, such as a clock or a toy.   There are many different variations of those depending on the exact mechanism.    Without seeing a serial number or the device it’s paired with, it’s very difficult to specify exactly what it’s supposed to wind up.
