[1.2] Galileo's Planet Pack (development thread) [v0.9]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
I can probably make a thread that can teach how to make one. My technique is quite a bit different than others but it allows for more precise biomes and its very simple. I dont use effects just the paint brush and the color swatch. When I get some time ill do this. It wont take too long.- 1,030 replies

[1.8.1-1] [PLEASE FORK ME] Kopernicus & KittopiaTech
Galileo replied to Thomas P.'s topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I cant remember if I ever noticed this in stock but I always figured the stitching was due to the template you chose. I haven't noticed it in my new mod nearly every planet was made using a Moho template. -
[1.2] Galileo's Planet Pack (development thread) [v0.9]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
I do like the idea of doing it manually but with 26 celestial bodies to be done, having the biomes in their general vicinity is perfectly acceptable lol- 1,030 replies

[WIP] [1.2.1] [2.0.4] Stock Size Real Solar System
Galileo replied to sDaZe's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
This is absolutely not true. This mod was made with DOE. And DOE doesn't do anything with atmospheres anyway. Please check again.- 2,401 replies

[KSP 1.6.1] Stock Visual Terrain [v2.2.0] [20 March 2019]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Lol I can imagine your troubles. Yes you can disable them but only in the cfg's and you will have to go into each one and find this in each scatter node collide=True And set it to false. Kerbin has quite a few. The rest should only have about one or two that you will have to change.- 1,019 replies

[1.2] Galileo's Planet Pack (development thread) [v0.9]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Anyone else want to help with biomes to take some of the workload off of myself and protojeb? I have some work to do with getting SVE and SVT cfgs working and also have to fix some seams on some other bodies so any help is appreciated. I won't just hand out the dev version to anyone so please have an idea of what you are doing and don't just take it to play with it.- 1,030 replies

Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Yeah it was a joke lol I'm dumb but I'm not that dumb I couldn't think of a rebuttal for Nhawks. But in all seriousness, I don't necessarily want to name it The Ciro System. Maybe it will grow on me- 1,030 replies

[1.2] Galileo's Planet Pack (development thread) [v0.9]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
I made Gratian a little more red and gave it some Ice caps. Oh and i liked the last screenshot so much, i moved Geminus a little closer to get a better view ALSO I NEED A NAME FOR THIS SOLAR SYSTEM! As much as I like including my name in the pack, I really want to include the community in the creation of this mod as much as possible. So i need as many suggestions as you guys can come up with. After however long I will pick the best 3-5 and create a poll.- 1,030 replies

[1.8.1-1] [PLEASE FORK ME] Kopernicus & KittopiaTech
Galileo replied to Thomas P.'s topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
if you want to try a few things you can do this: Remove "useOnDemand= false" from the sun.cfg Also change @KOPERNICUS:FOR[KOPERNICUS] to @KOPERNICUS:AFTER[KOPERNICUS] I dont really know if it makes a difference but i forgot to change it back when i was trying to squash a bug Changing that, according to others that have had the same issue, fixes the issue IN GAME. the Main Menu still has the stripes though -

[1.8.1-1] [PLEASE FORK ME] Kopernicus & KittopiaTech
Galileo replied to Thomas P.'s topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I don't take issue with those people, myself included. I have used pieces of others cfgs, changed them and made them my own after struggling for days to get something to work. I guess you could call me a Great artist The ksp community will only benefit from it
