[1.3.1] Rescale! Comprehensive SD Configs [1.0.2.8] [03 Dec 2017]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Have no clue what scatterer patch you are talking about. Looking at your player log, you have a lot of errors going one. Post s screenshot of your gamedata. I think you may have installed something incorrectly.- 310 replies

The performance impact of models is quite minimal. There is no animation so there’s that. The only thing that would cause a dip would be the collider, but it would be nearly impossible to notice it. If anyone plays with SVT, all static scatter objects have the colliders on. That’s dozens, if not hundreds of tangible statics and even they don’t hit performance that hard unless you are running a Commodore 64... That being said, PQS mesh colliders only allow for convex surfaces so caves or tunnels are not possible in KSP. Models, like Tylo’s cave are, but they lack the immersion of a real cave system on a planet unfortunately.

[1.8.1-1] [PLEASE FORK ME] Kopernicus & KittopiaTech
Galileo replied to Thomas P.'s topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Yeah you will need the latest release of GPP -
[1.8.1-1] [PLEASE FORK ME] Kopernicus & KittopiaTech
Galileo replied to Thomas P.'s topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
This because the devs of those planet packs need to define the brightness curves for the stars in their packs. It’s not an issue with kopernicus. I would bring it up with them first. -

[1.8.1-1] [PLEASE FORK ME] Kopernicus & KittopiaTech
Galileo replied to Thomas P.'s topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Those changes won’t effect planet packs, but they will make the lives easier for the users of those mods. Everything that worked with 1.3.1-2 will work fine with -3 -

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
No I cannot. I really like the realism in GPP. AVP has a more vibrant and sci-fi/fantastical feel to it, which I do not care for. To each, their own though. Also, if you are talking about the “fumes from a gas grill” look applied to the clouds in EVE, then absolutely not. Sorry you were disappointed- 7,371 replies

Req: a mod that places orbital stations to planets?
Galileo replied to Spraki's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Ok reread the op.. I would open up the cheat menu and or Hyperedit and look at the options they give you... you can set inclinations, eccentricity, and much much more. They default to stable circular orbits if you only choose the SMA. You will have to input the rest of the info into the correct fields -
Req: a mod that places orbital stations to planets?
Galileo replied to Spraki's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
I think he wants it’s to be an automatic random orbit placement tool upon load of the game to simulate random encounters later... but he plans on using hyperedit/cheat menu to get there later??? That’s what I’m confused about... “I don’t want to use Hyperedit, but I’m gonna use Hyperedit...” -

But why? You never really said why. You just followed up with another statement. -
You guys see/hear anything? Yeah, me either...

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@Norcalplanner just be sure, if you continue to use Distant Objects Enhancement, to set your dimming to like 60% if you intend to use our skybox. Otherwise, it doesn’t look good.- 7,371 replies

you have two button options for MJ too. The drop down button, or the toolbar button. Neither have enough room? And I was sure the Ui was scalable
-
Yep scene changes fix the scatterer bug as well, are you absolutely sure you didn’t have it installed?
-
That’s a known scatterer bug. It has nothing to do with sigma dimensions or the other mods you have listed.
