  1. Howdy all. I installed this mod yesterday and noticed one little issue. With the Size 2 Cargo Bays I think the button state label is wrong. It says (to) Close when closed and (to) Open when open.
  2. This amuses me. This cabin is aerodynamic public transport! I'm sure @Bit Fiddler would be pleased too. And woo! An update!
  3. Today I installed Airplane Plus and diagnosed someone's prop plane, and experienced the awesome of small prop planes. Later I built a Konkorde from Airplane Plus and OPT. It goes up to Mach 6 on just two OPT engines and seems promising that it can do a lap or two around the planet, but the Airplane Plus cockpit can't take that heat. It has to cruise at just over 100m/s to keep its nose up. There's even plenty cargo space!
  4. @Virulent Perhaps the game just took a dump on you. I was quite stumped when I built a probe with the white cased folding solar panels (attached via I-beams), cheated it into orbit, and then it wiggled violently and the I-beams broke off. Replacing the I-beams fixed that. Now in your case there should be no problem with the Advanced Particle Collector (RD would have no reason to change anything about it). Maybe like me, you just need to build your ship a little differently. Finally, the difficulty in getting Karborundum is part of the point. If you can build big, go for the Sun. If not, spam drills and go for Eeloo.
  5. In addition I think a moderator (I believe it's our resident banana ninja ) said that there's also a big issue with getting political and claiming chunks of Kerbin.
  6. Uh oh! The telescope hype train is rolling again! Love ResearchBodies? How about its brother, Tarsier space Technologies! Custom science for this mod has arrived. Thanks to @JPLRepo for making these a thing!
  7. @JPLRepo Tiny question. Can I have more than one general (non-biome) report per planet for the ChemCam experiment? Such that each time I run the experiment a different one will be displayed?
  8. About the new WarpJet series engines introduced in OPT Legacy v1.0.7. Skip the spoiler if you don't like reading. I'm looking forward to seeing any epic screenshots of creations of yours that take advantage of WarpJets. Now the actual showroom part. The links lead to KerbalX. The F-81 and F-81 Heavy SSTA sport craft. Easily replace the forward service bay for a cabin. The F-81 has just one SURGE but the F-81 Heavy has 2 SURGE engines and can return from Eve. It carries no extra LF for air-breathing mode. Avatar's SURGE Freighter type with 4 SURGE and 2 SAGE. Unfortunately I have not measured its payload rating. If an extra pair of SAGE engines can be placed well, it should still have the TWR (and not out-balance the reactors) to carry a desirable large payload to orbit. SAGE Commercial Luxury airliner, globetrotter and SSTO with 2 SAGE. This one stalls very well and can land on the tiniest of islands without taking damage. Not tested taking off from water, but the ARI-75 engines should make that doable.
  9. @blackheart612 You might wanna update the version numbers in the thread title. Thanks for the headsup. Now I have plenty reason to have cloned decal parts reserved for custom flags if it means clearing up this issue.
  10. I just uploaded 4 planes to KerbalX. All of which feature the new WarpJet engines, and only one is KH class, featuring KH Inline SAS. Click on my signature. I may have to revisit the big one. I don't know if it has the TWR to carry any significant mass in payload to orbit. However I tried to get my test plane with J-60D engines to lift an orange tank. It failed so no upload.
  11. It hasn't been tested with current MKS. Anyone with the skill and wisdom to polish the MKS compatibility is more than welcome to pitch in.
  12. @nascarlaser1 I don't think you can turn it off but you can vastly reduce the likelihood of them happening. This should be your answer.
  13. There are some refurbished new parts out for use with Kerbalism.
  14. I have seen all the parts in the CTT, and never had to touch that part of their configs. If they are not visible in your VAB then you must have a life support installed but missing Community Category Kit. I forgot to put a check whether CCK is present but for some of the life support mods, the parts will move out of the stock categories and into the community categories. This is where they all are in CTT. Lastly, I forgot or didn't notice, to move the heatshields into the Thermal category. They're in the Aerodynamics category.
  15. @trias702 A portion of my tutorial can answer your question about balancing radiators to engines. It covers many things across the spectrum of Nertea's mods and it has pictures to help you see what's what.
  16. @Gameslinx Give those moons whatever added detail you plan to, when it's convenient to you. Until then just leave them as they are and (if anyone bothers you) put up a notice that there are fixes coming. But the main thing is that they continue to be present. You're welcome.
  17. @Gameslinx Don't remove any bodies please. Just leave them alone. You're going to break people's careers again and get them upset at you.
  18. @linuxgurugamer has an new, self-made mod coming that could fit right in and deal with this problem. Check it out. I have plans for it as well.
  19. @gilflo Great post(s). Great video. If I may nitpick, I'd like to say some of us would much more enjoy the engine sounds and the physics sounds than the VAB music and the sound of parts being picked and attached.
  20. I'm about to head home now. I must definitely try this. Oh, does it work for skyboxes too? You might wanna see a doctor for that.
  21. Every planet mod with a ResearchBodies config needs to have said config updated. ResearchBodies itself works very differently now.
  22. @linuxgurugamer That's brilliant. The Mk2 parts should definitely be added to Tokamak. Yes. Mk2 parts are so horrible in stock aero, but I have yet to be repelled from using them. I know and love my mods.
  23. I'm assuming the process here blows Photoshop's polar filter out of the water? afaik Photoshop's one is a mule, not even a one-trick pony. There is so much I want to and/or must learn. And I'm kinda entrenched in Photoshop.
