  1. @mavnor That's a pretty interesting setup you have there. By chance are you using my OPT_USI patch? I see no USI parts at all on your mega SSTO except greenhouses and engines, but it boasts a lot of Supplies and Habitation capacity.
  2. @Death Engineering Coordinates please! I want to see this up-close.
  3. I want to see your GameData... And are all of these (except GPP) orbiting Kerbol?
  4. I couldn't help but feel a little "historical" at this moment. In GPP with a rocket-baring rover and an OPT spaceplane.
  5. I'm glad you raised this question. Feel free to alter my config(s) to account for Helios and suit any other needs, but I will not allow my sunflares to be bundled except by GPO and very large or very eccentric multi-star mods. GPO counts as eccentric because Olu'um isn't just another red dwarf star. The Isk sunflare is too good. Maybe I shouldn't have released it. In any case your screenshots are very nice.
  6. There is always, and I repeat, ALWAYS, an opportunity for a golden Gauss screenie. I just built this and cheated it here to test antenna range... But it will come back via a legit launch. 4x stock RA-100 dishes (Ven's Stock Revamp) 60% signal and 0.87EC/s with each NFE trio solar array.
  7. @Dewar The various resources observed by SCANsat are not specifically delivered by USI but are part of CRP and mostly used by USI. The remainder are probably only used by KSPI-E. It's going to be a tough decision to pick resources to remove, and one I've thought about for a long time because I know te issue of being unable to add more than 1 or 2 resources to SCANsat's resource overlay window. It would be wise to ask in the MKS thread whichc of these resources are not used by MKS, then get back to me. As much as you want to know, so do I.
  8. @ProtoJeb21 Do make your heat tolerance buff reasonable. Even with what Galileo just provided...don't make kerbals able to actually walk on that ultra-hot planet. Also, this mod has a command seat with built-in radiator. Try it out and let me know how things go.
  9. Oops. Well I had in mind his statement that he's practically abstaining from GPP until the release so he'll never see MiniAVC's alerts.
  10. GPP's dev thread exists but was only used for the pre-releases (version < 1) and is locked now. For reasons including not spoiling all the awesome we're bringing, we don't show much in the open for players to track. (The devs of any great mod may do this.) Sadly there's no means by which players can subscribe (for this mod) and be alerted once a release comes. On the subject of amazing rovers, I'd like to say I just happened to do that. This tiny thing can climb a 40 deg slope on Iota. And this is in the WIP of the coming GPP update. Much bumps. Very detail. (There's more detail but I have mine turned down for performance concerns) I think the best part of this little sandbox mission was noticing that not-too-little speck right under Gael. (The plane is ascending into retrograde orbit, returning the rover) That's Grannus, lit with one of my sunflares. It outshines Gratian by a bit.
  11. You're absolutely right. It just stops....... Well now I know the soviet kerbals are gonna develop flying cars.
  12. @Drew Kerman I'm sure K. Yeon had an oversight. It happens. Or he has a fair reason for withholding the FAR configs.
  13. @flightyfighty You might want to read the OP or watch the video. Realistically, warp drives don't like high gravity, and the part action window (PAW) will show you if you're going to overload when you prepare to jump.
  14. @CatastrophicFailure Care to share your last output_log? Maybe something in it will make sense to me.
  15. @LordOfMinecraft99 Please don't ever ask that question. He will when he can.
  16. @Gordon Dry Your problem is FAR. It does not work (or is not expected to) in KSP 1.3.
  17. I've been up to serious mischief with engines again. The ones firing here used to be stock NERVs but are now the ARI-73. Radiators not necessary. Let's just say they'll no longer be redundant and easily ignored next to the prettier ARI-75.
  18. The Codename Pterodactyl ultrasonic service shuttle. Its cockpit and center engine are nearly the only mod parts on this. With these, though, it can reach Mach 7 and deliver 8 crew or whatever payload can fit a Mk2 long bay/fuselage to up to maybe 600km circular orbit. It doesn't need to use Oxidizer at all while in atmosphere and needs every bit of power from the Rapiers to rev up the scramjet. With its reference payload weight (4 tons; the 2 cabins) it has about 640m/s dV in vacuum. That's more than plenty for meeting a station in at best under 400km altitude....And this is without any docking ports attached... The Pterodactyl is not meant to cross SOI, not even to get to Mun by itself (unlike the NOX BlueStreak Z). So the Rapiers' fair efficiency in closed cycle is no problem at all.
  19. I learned to change particle FX on engines... Also, I landed a plane on Iota. I'd like to do a legit flight real soon...because I'm always camping in the SPH and tweaking parts. Finally I made a rover that can fit this plane's size-- not in its cargo bay but in its size of deployment bay which affords the space of roughly 2x 2.5m stock service bays in vertical stack. There's a Spark engine underneath and it joins or leaves the plane in drop bay style. Finally I have a use for Clamp'O'Tron Jr. This little thing drives just fine on Ceti/Mun but needs a torque wheel and antenna. Once I have some action screenshots (and maybe a better name) I'll put on KerbalX. It's pure stock.
  20. @vossiewulf With what insight I have I can say that this helps a lot, if only in that other players have posted similar issues "OPT spaceplanes throttled up and not moving." I think some mention something about wheels but I doubt anyone has mentioned having a MJ controller on their planes. Well I'm sure the main dev will make sense of it. Thanks very much for your report.
  21. Well it is. OPT contains no plugins and works in nearly all versions of KSP. None of its dependencies are bundled anymore, except Firespitter for fuel switching. That's the best I can tell you as I don't use CKAN.
