  1. and a dedicated topic to the licensing and etiquette topic..thanks ksp mod!
  2. I've got the PERFECT test for this fork....a stock saturn V care of bluedog design bureau, COMPLETE with LEM. if it doesnt bork itself with this? I'd say certify for release and use.
  3. has anyone asked him if they can maintain the mod in his stead?
  4. well, if a clear concise answer was never received..I believe whoever wishes to perform maintenance/upkeep of the mod must ask permission then.
  5. has anyone messaged him asking if he plans to continue maintaining KJR, and if not, requesting permission to adopt, or at least provide maintenance/compatibility updates for the KJR mod?
  6. and remember to cite others' work where necessary... that last I remember from my days as a pixel artist, but then again, we observed a creative commons license...
  7. thats good news...I think most if not all of the ksp community that uses mods, depends on this one mod by this point.
  8. for the record, this is the first time these words are ever leaving my mouth as it were here on the ksp forums..so please no torches and pitchforks? ------- I wish the original author would either update this one...or someone would adopt the mod and update it.
  9. I for one wont be upgrading from ksp 1.3.1 without KJR, as without it..one is forced to strut the heck out of a rocket to ensure it doesnt break up in flight..or space station modules, to ensure they can survive their tasks..which in turn leads to a ballooning part count on any given model...
  10. there are many who would love to see KJR once more a part of their mod rosters.
  11. that....is how my life feels sometimes to be honest. way to nail it dead tap on XD
  12. I myself use srbs in the strap on role, for the same reason of a complete lack of throttle control and inability to shut down and restart an srb. srbs have a tendency when the larger core stage sized ones are used, to push a stack fast enough that if I didnt have kerbal joint reenforcement..I'd see a complete loss of the vehicle.
  13. try using this, arm the master switch, turn on rocket mode, disable moderation. steering movement stops the moment you let go of the controls
  14. I may be only in the game for 6-7 months but I do have some wisdom to offer..hey, dont knock the classics man.
  15. I mounted a decoupler and it pushed the LAS up and created a gap between the capsule and LAS shroud. I know SSTU has an LAS system that can do both decoupler and motor no problem, the only things that'd need to be set up are the abort command actions, but thats the case more or less with every other LAS I've seen.
  16. also, the orion launch abort system does not appear to have its own decouple function built in. the crew portraits dont appear either.
  17. potentially dumb/obvious question here.. can you clarify the thread title? it says 1.4.2 compatability, does that mean it works ONLY with 1.4.2 or its been tested and declared compliant, and will thus still work with the older ksp 1.3.1? I've had a read through of the last 5 pages and didnt see mention, hence me asking.
  18. ..keep getting a big fat goose egg on getting this to work.
  19. and kerbal attachment system? did you use that?
  20. getting 500 internal error when trying to download.
