Ahh, I see. Just a thought to add an alternator to the output shaft. You say heat. I may have missed the details. Why not go and claim a Thermionic Generator for electricity production located in the drive if you don't like the alternator? Or for that matter you could create the thermionic gen completely separate, just like a fuel cell, but takes heat resource to make electricity.

One question, does the engine not produce electricity?

https://github.com/Kowgan/ksp_cheat_sheets They acknowledge that more or less are possible and explain where the numbers come from. If its still monitored and you aren't anti-github, you can do a pull request I am sure.
-
Well, maybe, possibly, I might have done that once or twice... I haven't done it since the addition of engineers being able to attach things. I would assume the same thing, that it won't complete the contract however since you're already there what's the harm in trying?

güneş sisteminin dışına bir teleskop nasıl gönderilir
Dientus replied to Yusuf Enes's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
Right now we don't know how communications or electric power will be accomplished in the KSP 2 game. @jimmymcgoochie and @Kernel Kraken both give excellent possibilities on the electrical side of it. Also, receiving or sending commands might be instantaneous or it may be more realistic and take time to reach Kerbal Space Center before we can act on it. There are also possibilities of pre-programmed flight to some extent. All we can do is speculate or make our best guesses and hope that something more is revealed in their Friday updates... Speaking of.... it's ALMOST FRIDAY!! -
WOOT!!!

I like that optimism! Sure we know the realities of company politics, vs work flow, vs time to deploy, vs new additions, etc etc... but hey, no harm in hope right?

This. All successful games that I am aware of always have a following of some kind. Even many years later. As faras the community goes, I can only speak for myself and agree with @Kerminator K-100

@Caerfinon said it right on. I personally like to send an email to even open source GPL authors just to be polite. I know reading the licenses is a pain, but it can not only protect the persons work, but your own as well. GNU GPL for example, is written in a way that anything you use with that license, you agree to release your work under that license as well. In your instance, I am assuming that is not an issue for you since you post publicly on forums. Its just something to be mindful of is all.

(WIP) Titania A New Moon To Kerbin
Dientus replied to An Amongus Sussy Player's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Kewl! Will install and check this out first chance I get. Is it dependant on anything or does it stand alone? The pics show a nice granite texture, I think it looks great!- 21 replies

This is web based: https://ksp.olex.biz/ This is a chart I use religiously, here on the forums: This is a time chart when to leave: https://m.imgur.com/qvmUhBn I myself have used the chart, and eyeballed approx angles, launched, and made sure I had extra deltaV for the correction burn. There is a mod that has the transfer window ingame, i use that now To elaborate, I would choose the system map look straight down on that map place curbing in the proper area on the right side about 3:00. Then I could take my hands and use them as an approximate angle finder if that makes any sense

Will KSP2 Have More Than One Extra Star System?
Dientus replied to a topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
That could be a thing, ATS adds a new state to the game available as DLC and as new states come out, older ones drop in price. I could get behind that if the pricing were similar. -
Then the scene may become cluttered and laggy over many crashes, tho I don't disagree with the realism part. Since the devs are a bit vague on how far their "reuse of parts" will go, what about recycling those debris as well as parts with tech? Science Lab meet Recycle Bin

Current modding info 1.11.x
Dientus replied to Dientus's topic in KSP1 Modelling and Texturing Discussion
Kewl, thank you very much. I plan on using blender so will check out the mod. Bypassing Unity would be a plus if it works right. -
I have been digging around but can't seem to verify current information for modding ksp 1.11.x Is the information here still valid as of this post date? -> https://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Tutorial:Making_an_asset_from_start_to_finish I am thinking of creating parts to add to ksp and wanted to be sure before I started.

Thanx @Hohmannson Good info.

Surely there is a balance... Maybe an option to turnnon and off with a frequency slider?

I think I just been swayed Maybe weather should be just cosmetic.

The few nanograms of anti-protons that mankind has ever produced was immediately annihilated when any came in contact with normal matter. That I am aware of with our ability to measure, this reaction, of the antiproton and the proton coming in contact with each other, resulted in 100% of the mass involved converting to pure energy. Nuclear fusion only reaches about a 40% conversion rate to pure energy. That I am aware of, antimatter is the only known thing currently in physics that will result in all of its matter being converted to pure energy. Of course we still need more study and better technology to study it with as well as a way to store it for more than a few seconds. But if we ever learn how to use energy released from an antimatter reaction the implications are astounding.
