  1. Happened after docking two crafts together. Honestly, I don't know the exact steps to reproduce this issue.
  2. Patch 2 release notes: - KSC pine trees replaced with tropical trees - Animals added Patch 2 reactions: Monkeys are sabotaging rocket launches
  3. While I ain't happy about some of the development, LS adds complexity a lot of players don't want. Plus, it isn't very noob friendly. None of us started with it from day one. I'm fine if it's added as a mod.
  4. I'm assuming most of the members of this forum don't have as much money as Elon Musk. Thanks to games, we can still enjoy our wet dreams about owning a space center... sooo... share its name and flag if you like
  5. Boy, did I spoke too soon... Trying to rendezvous with another vessel is a nightmare without seeing MN through the planet/moon... Also, this interface is very hard to read. I don't want my mouse cursor blocking (not visible in the image), and that B tag to be above vital information about vehicle separation length etc...
  6. I'm not totally onboard with this. We need a separate MN window (like in KSP 1) where you can make fine adjustments without even knowing where MN is.
  7. I'm building a stairway to heaven... Cheaper than launching rockets... Only 69.97 kilometers to go... plus an ideal test for part count
  8. Uhm, ehm... I'm not sure on this topic. How much detail is enough? Trees? I Don't care. So far, only Kerbin has them, and the major goal of this game is to get as far away as possible from it. Vegetation so far is completely fine for me. I'm more interested in collidable (?) scatter, to make landing and rovers more of a challenge.
  9. My only nag so far is that rotation/moving parts should be separated and binded to hotkeys 2 and 3, like in original... Also shift click on any part to select the whole assembly, instead of hunting for the root element. Maybe Im missing something...
  10. Sir, I'm gonna have to ask you to drop your opinion, and put your hands behind your back. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say, can be used against you in the Hype train thread.
  11. TBH, I don't know why they pushed that idea so far. KSP is inherently a single-player game. I'd rather sacrifice MP experience for some advanced mechanics that are maybe blocked by it. All in due time I guess. I just hope I will be able to tear down flags planted by enemy competing space programs. May it bring the worst in Kerbals Regarding the topic itself, the forum is noticeably quieter after the first patch. I guess all game breaking stuff will be resolved within the next 2 patches, so they can move onwards to science. My major concern for now is this topic. I've noticed that as well. How are we supposed to build orbital colony mega-structures, if space stations carry this bug from the first game? All in due time... again...
  12. Still better and more worth than most of the live-service stream games these days. But what can be included? More parts? Story driven campaign?
  13. And looks incomplete, from what we can see. There's additional "card" after multiplayer. But what's on it?
  14. Not just that... Interstellar travel will probably use some exotic fuel that has to be synthesized outside of Kerbin. So how do we first get interstellar stuff, then resource gathering? I wonder... I'm assuming science, resource gathering and interstellar will somehow be connected. You grab surface sample of Vall, bring it to the lab, and realise that if you melt it, you get the exotic fuel for exotic engines or something...
  15. Yes, but I think it's bugged. I set transparency to 0 and my rocket is still visible . If you need inspiration, just type color palettes in search engine. Also check out this mod.
  16. I've fired up KSP 1 yesterday... Nope... Can't do it... Too bland and cartoonish, even with the mods. How fast you can spoil a human with better stuff...
  17. Docking and undocking bug fix, less rocket noodling, a wee bit more performance optimizations, and we're pretty close to KSP 1 experience. Not bad for early part of an early access.
  18. This is an absolute must. I wish if there could also be a way to visualise and move MN position as well. For example, say you're orbiting Kerbin, and you zoom out to see what the trajectory will look like. If I want to move entire MN just a little "left" or "right", it is impossible to do precisely, due to zoom out level.
  19. I am genuinely shocked and appalled that developers still haven't abandoned other work and their private life obligations to fix this bug and release a hot-patch. I'm really disappointed... This speaks volumes about how much they care for this game
  20. @DaveLChgo literally just try what I've described above. It works wonders for both horizontal and vertical movement.
  21. Will science function in the same way as in KSP 1 (go to a place, click a button), or will it be more involved now? I appreciate the open communication from the team
  22. A tip for all who hold middle mouse button to move the camera around... Just use middle mouse click instead to focus on certain part. You don't even have to select desired part initially, just something close to it, and than re-click once camera moves. After an hour, you'll find that it's way faster than Shift + scroll, especially when working with multiple assemblies. You can fly through entire VAB in a nanosecond.
  23. Are we gonna see some parts that were present in the expansions (KV-1,2,3 pods, Bobcat engine, etc...), or have these been removed?
  24. [Jeb's inner monologue] I can't believe I'm still driving this piece of sh*t. Oh sure, KSC has enough money to justify spending on moar boosters, but Kraken forbid that us pilots get any annual bonus. I blame the management. Many of the engineers should have been fired long ago. I'd shove mystery goo up all of their butts. They never actually improve anything. They just cram more struts. Wobbly rocket? Add struts . Plane wings carry too much weight? Add struts. Marriage issues? Add struts... I swear none of 'em ever thought about doing a proper design. And for once I'd like to see a launch escape system implemented, instead of trapping me within those oversized fairings like a crash test dummy. Oh I'm gonna tell them one day. I'll tell 'em... @Wheehaw Kerman Does that answers your question?
