  1. No public API yet. Nate, or someone from Intercept, said that it will come "After launch of EA" and will only be support for part mods first. No word on plugin support.
  2. Yes, modding is coming. The first (official) modding support will be for parts only. No word on when, just "A little bit after launch of EA." No word on plugins.
  3. So, I just found out that you can add multiple struts to one strut "point" for lack of a better word. It's a little finnicky, but this is how you do it: Place your strut. Place the other side. (Now, this is the tricky part.) To select the point you want to have multiple struts attach to it, you need to alt+click on the OPPOSITE strut point. Example, a rocket with boosters. If you want the core strut to connect to multiple boosters, you alt+click the strut point on the booster, which will give you a strut connected to the core strut point.
  4. Without kerbnet, the only way to find easter eggs/anomalies is to search around. Look where Easter Eggs/Anomalies used to be is the best bet. Might have to search around the area where they were last known as easter eggs tend to move location a little bit in a sequel.
  5. If you're on Windows hit these buttons: Windows Key + Shift + S If you're on Steam you can hit F12 (Thought due it twice since the first time it brings up the aero menu)
  6. So, I've confirmed time does move while you're in the VAB. Also, omg! We can copy entire crafts now?!
  7. I've had no luck. Went searching for the desert temple and found nothing. Clouds made it hard to search too. Anyone else have better luck? Of course, remember to use spoilers for pictures or information that might be 'spoilers'.
  8. Is it just me or does time move while you're in the VAB? I walked away for like 30 mins, I swear it was light shining through the windows, come back, it's dark. Am I crazy or is thay what happened?
  9. @Scarecrow71 There is a way to orient your craft east in your issue 1. The runway doors face south, the rocket doors face north. The wall to the right of the rocket door and left of the airplane door is the east wall. The default orientation of parts is north (towards rocket door).
  10. MAC Support is in the plans, but no release date, possibly sometime after EA is over. As to your second question, a windows VM or windows emulator. Not a mac user, so don't ask me which ones to use.
  11. More stuff will be opened to be moddable in the future. For now, they have no official modding support.
  12. No. KSP 2 will not be on Xbox One. It will only be on PC for EA. After EA it will come to Xbox Series X and PS5.
  13. Most AAA games go for legacy hardware support. KSP 2 is a modern game that is future proofing itself.
  14. Dang, a minimalist when it comes to modding or just against modding in general (except to fix problems)?
  15. Returning to play your favorite mods. Or playing both KSP 1 and KSP 2 at the same time so you can take some comparison screenshots.
  16. No one is "Jumping ship", but KSP 2 is brand new and we want to mess around with it as much as possible, find the bugs, report the bugs, report feedback. The first month of EA is quite busy for any game because of all the players from the original wanting to play the sequel. KSP 1 will stick around for a year or two, but it will start dying. It is inevitable.
  17. Just remember the good ole KSP motto: SoonTM In all seriousness, the devs will deploy updates whenever they're ready, though I think a weekly or bi-weekly update would be best for when to deploy those updates. Having an update every day will get really annoying really fast.
  18. I know official support for parts is coming first, but someone brute forcing it might be able to make a plug-in work is what I was saying.
  19. Without the part tools, we can't really make part mods. The only mod that might get made is plugins, I believe.
  20. SISS 7: Enterprise (Rus) module - January 5th, 1990 Flown by Buran-Energia Russia is known for ripping off other countries designs, so it's no surprise when the rumors of a Russian Space Shuttle turned out to be true. The Buran. While looking similar to the Space Shuttle, there were key major differences. The Buran was fully capable of launching, flying and landing itself. It could fly an entire mission without any crew on board, which greatly improved safety. The Buran also didn't have any engines, instead moving the engines from the orbiter to the Energia. Energia was much like the ET of the STS stack, using hyrdrolox to fuel its engines, at least the core engines. The boosters were liquid kerolox boosters, and instead of 2, there were 4. SISS 7 was the first crewed flight of the Buran too, housing cosmonauts on board. Buran lifted off and flew to SISS, delivering the Enterprise module. Due to Buran having no robotic manipulator and the station not having one either, the Enterprise module was fitted on top of a Progress resupply spacecraft and fitted with RCS thrusters so it could dock itself. Upon arrival, Buran had to wait while their comrades to move the Soyuz that was taking up the docking port that Enterprise was supposed to go to. It was supposed to be moved before Buran's arrival, but a debris field from a broken-up satellite gave the station a scare and everyone had to wait it out in their spacecrafts in case of emergency descent to Earth. Thankfully, SISS was able to maneuver outside of the trajected path and no debris hit the station. After the Soyuz was moved, Progress was released with Enterprise before the two were docked to SISS. Progress then immediately detached and deorbited while Buran went in for docking with the new Enterprise module. Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet (I think it goes without saying that these posts might slow down... a lot due to... well... I'm sure you can all guess. I'll try to do a post at least once a week, it not twice a week.) (Also, Columbia will be going up as the very next mission, SISS 9. Don't know what module to send up though. I have to make a change to the solar truss, the MOK panels and the ISS panels kind of clip/collide. Current plan is just to extend it a little.)
  21. I'm willing to bet a lot, or at least many, of the issues we saw during the insider event will be either dealt with or their impact at the very least minimized. And we'll find out in... 28 hours, mark. 5,276 m/s
