Same. This^ the great thing about this update was that I was surprised to be able to open my first original save back from .21 (I think?) and it worked! Quite a surprise. Now I have to save 39 kerbals! Argh!!!

Im sorry, but over this we must get.......
Wallygator replied to maceemiller's topic in Kerbal Network
Uh, that wasn't Yoda in real life. The ghost of Mr. King "may" be rolling in his grave. Likely, he doesn't give a rat. Still, wishing everyone to get along seems on the surface to be a good idea. Unless that is until the "getting along" bit eclipses the "there are still things to fix" bit. -
Seems like Squad needs to embiggin their relationship with Unity - since they are pushing the envelope of the platform's capability. It would be in the best interest of both parties. If they can afford it, Squad should anoint a technical architect to face-off with Unity full time. Frankly, they can't afford not to, in my opinion. Perhaps Unity should consider cost sharing in this regard.

Rover wheels inoperative due to parts placed behind
Wallygator replied to Tomator's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Agreed. This is what I experience during daytime also. You can work around it once you get a sense of the proportions.- 1 reply

Fresh install - OSX... + KER 4k textures seem to work just fine. Also attempted the 8k textures, But I only see a sliver of earth displayed in the tracking centre view. They did seem to work on my 1.0.5 install just fine. Not a big deal, just wondering if there is any further thoughts on this...

A depressing day in the office just got less depressing. A grand bow and salute to you @NathanKell Thanks!

Same> late 2014 macbook pro Additionally, I see pixillations around the launch pad in the space centre view regardless of graphic settings changes.

Wow. Well done!! i have not the patience remaining from my wasted life to attempt what you have done above. Very interesting and well presented! I find these types of explorations and testing are quite entertaining and informative even if I choose not to try them out. Fab!

Letting the ISS burn up......Why?
Wallygator replied to Vaporized Steel's topic in Science & Spaceflight
There is no way to keep the ISS in orbit forever without an economic reason to do -> it will rapidly become a is fully sweated asset. It will ultimately burn up and crash into something important, and then human space travel will be doomed forever due to a fear of falling stuff. -
Ares - The Start of a Grand Expedition
Wallygator replied to StarStreak2109's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
I like your new style of pics format and your composition. Very nice. Keep up the great work! -
Running 80% UI on an iMac at 2650 X 1440 I notice that the standard KSP mouse cursor seems to block the "mouse over" tool tips. For this example I direct your attention to the navball left side controls and the tooltips that display when you mouse over them. Placing the mouse over the Prograde control, I can read "ograde" rather than "Prograde", and when mousing over the Target control a read "rget" rather then "Target". For a new player I would guess this could be quite frustrating. Seems there needs to be a bit more thought about the placement of the mouse over info dialogues. Thoughts?

Long-term Laythe Mission (pic heavy) - ^_^ With Part 45 ^_^
Wallygator replied to Brotoro's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Ugh... No its not back, it's dormant. Regardless, I continue to bow in Brototo's general direction - still remaining an inspiration to all! Well done Sir! Let us hope the Devs take the necessary time and attention so as to take your findings onboard. I'm considering a mission to Duna. Not sure if I will document it to the level of care you always do. But curious as to how 1.1 will treat me. -
restore the files in your trash bin?

Early aircraft and beating the T1 runway.
Wallygator replied to DrMarlboro's topic in KSP1 Discussion
The land surrounding the t1 runway is more smooth than the runway. I get that an early runway might be quiet shorter or much narrower, or soft - but bumpier? Let me spend funds to widen or extend yea, I like that... Or to increase the load capability. Even in WW1 aircraft had smooth landing fields with no tarmac at all. Ok they were light. T1? Senseless. But hey, a game. -

Frankly, I don't even *want* a v.1.2
Wallygator replied to p1t1o's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I'm not sure this is still a current statement --> the bit about them NOT being a game company. I believe they are now a spin off - they ARE now a company that develops and publishes electronic games. A moderator might kindly step-in here for a moment to shed light on this specific issue and clarify if I or others are incorrect on this. -
Kerbal Space Program update 1.1 “Turbo Charged” is now available!
Wallygator commented on KasperVld's article in Developer Articles
Congrats! Now put it out in the store! -
Perfect - send snacks and postal mail on regular basis until crew return ;-)
-
It must be a target vehicle for a future claw mission - there are no alternatives.

Very nice. Well done! Mans noe you have this thread to commemorate the event forever!! I hate auto correct along with a malfunctioning edit mode on mobile. "And now" rather than "mans noe". Guess you get another congrats message too! Congrats.

"It puts the Corgi in the rocket!" no! Basket! Err Rocket! No, yes, definitely Rocket. OK, ready now. Show us what you can do. And to wish you good luck and to let you know we are all counting on you, I can only offer some paraphrased words originally made famous in an aeronautical cinema classic, "I just want to wish you good luck, we're all counting on you."

I like this. Really good! Well done sir!

I like this. A singular mission documented in an easy to consume style. More of this please. Well done sir!
