tried to play minecraft but mouse button issues make it impossible to manage inventory in the game. will require mouse surgery. i find it disturbing that an $80 mouse cant use a higher quality microswitches or a hardware low pass filter (less than a penny in parts) or even a software lpf (a few lines of code). instead it all goes into overbuilding to the point where you need to remove 30+ screws to get to the part that needs changing.

ended up playing slither.io.

I'm ashamed to admit that I've been playing Roblox recently. Not crap like Piggy or openly promoted phishing games like pet simulator, but perhaps one of the nerdiest games on there, NEC Train Simulator. I've gotten some cool screenshots from it though.

I was playing Hypixel on Minecraft and having a very good time in the Hypixel Pit minigame, when I got banned for "unfair advantages" for 180 DAYS. This is actually the second time I've gotten banned for this reason, both times I actually did nothing. I do run a modded install, but it was specifically edited by the maker (and further modified by myself) to not have any gameplay modifying mods that would fall under the "Unfair Gameplay Advantages" category, per Hypixel's official guidelines.

I was just running around playing as normal and I just got banned out of the blue. Maybe I moved in a way the Watchdog moderation system didn't recognize or something. All I know is that this is sucks very, very much. What makes this situation even more crappy is that the appeal process is complicated and knowing that if Hypixel moderators don't take action against actual hackers even when players report them, a single appeal form will probably not even be acknowledged.

...Not to mention that Hypixel was something I'd play with friends as one of our favorite servers, but I guess that's out of the option for the next 179 days from now.

Been playing more NEC. I did the NJ Local line with an Arrow III today. What a painfully slow train.

Is it not that the line is slow? Low speed limit because to many sharp turns and perhaps many stops. Think most train sets is able to go 120-160 km/h

Exactly. Most train sets in game move between 110-125mph (177-201km/h), so the Arrow III is comparatively slow. When you're usually speeding down the NJ Local on an ALP-46, the Arrow III is a really different change of pace.

How it feels to double post:

I downloaded Townscaper a few days ago, and now I can't stop playing it. It's way to mesmerizing. It's so fun to actually build a city the way you'd like it to look, and the freedom from management that other city builders invest into is a welcome break. My current project is a city I've called New Yorkshire, given that's it's supposed to be New York styled, but integrated with the game's European city design. I finished the Manhattan-based area today.

After hearing about it for months, I'm finally playing Project Wingman. Its been really fun, and dare I say even a bit more fun than AC7's campaign.

Also, as of now I'm on Mission 6 and stubbornly trying to fight off Crimson Squadron despite having now died on this mission at least five times.

Cant stop playing it... Core Keeper and trying to get more folks hooked.
I have always gravitated to the Low  End graphics and think this is my new casual go to.  It seems like I have a hard time engaging with KSP without at least a 4-5 window to really play, as the demands on my time increase, I am leaning more on games that i can kill and hour playing.

It does suck not having anyone I know enjoy the same games, this one would be fun to get  a small group together.

Last week, got back into Shortest Trip to Earth, a rogue-like spaceship adventure game.  Bit of a steep learning curve.  Had played it before in 2019 and 2021, got as far as the 4th Sector (of 10).  Got to the 3rd Sector on my first play-through before my ship got blown up.  With improved knowledge, started another play-through and doing better.
