Which one is a more complicated shape, a square or a trangle?

I am guessing Square, because a square dance requires many people and moves.

What about triangle dance? If such a thing doesn't exist, then your argument is irrelevant. No offense of course.

There are Dsquared trousers, but no Dtriangled ones.

It's hip to be square

Then you need to state, in relation to what?

They are 2 very simple geometric shapes. A square has an extra corner but as a square the angle of the corner will always be 90 degrees no matter the size. A triangle has only 3 corners but depending on the type of triangle the angles change size, but when added together will always equal 180 degrees.

Then there is structural strength etc.

So in relation to what?

In Caucasus languages there is an "approximate numeral" category.
It looks like "some-three-four" as a single word.

So, we can treat the triangles and the squares as particular cases of a "somethreefourangle" figure if take that local school of mathematics as a base.

P.S.
This also makes Caucasus a probable motherland of quantum mechanics, as this numeral is a superposition of its possible states.

Sigh... In relation to each other, do i really have to specify?

If look at the square from the edge, two vertices can shadow each other, and you see a triangle... from edge.

Btw, if look from edge at a triangle, you can see an exotic two-vertex figure, twangle. Also from edge.

So, we can speak about 2, 3, and 4- vertex triangles as a general case.

So basically the triangle is more complex?

It's more generic.

***

But from the combinatorics (and statistical physics) pov, the square is more complex, because it has greater number of possible states or the mode rearrangement cases.

Sigh!!

I am thinking of a number between pink and bronze, what does it smell like?

@kerbiloid Do you think Vegans care for the feelings of Baby Carrots and Baby Peas?

4-vertex triangles are called tetrahedrons.

I wouldn't be so sure.

(Idx, if you can watch the video.)

Why is the shower the source of the most philosophical questions?

If a person is lit on fire (for being a witch, perhaps) and because of being lit on fire, causing a building to catch fire, is that person guilty of arson?

Because 'Muricans call toilet "bathroom."

A selection of observations of the day:

1. Replacing the simple syrup in a whiskey sour with maple syrup is good, but it really needs a reduction in lemon juice.

2. You never really notice how important thumbs are.

3. Band aids should really be made to be opened more easily with one hand.

4. When cleaning a blade, you should really pay attention to where the edge is in relation to your anatomy.

Bandaids are why we have teeth.

I hope you still have 2 thumbs.

The ones I have were not easy to open in such a way.

Just a large cut on one.  Not really deep, though; it's more parallel to the surface.

But it's the one I use to operate my phone and the spacebar.  And I keep hitting it against things.
