  1. 1. Are the "likes" here to stay?

For those reading this in the future, the Moderators created an elaborate April Fools joke this year. The reaction software was changed to have "dislikes" for a few hours, and many other jokes that seemed really fishy. As of writing this post, the "X reacted to this" says "X liked this".

I remember it as "Dislike?"

Likes are staying. Anything else was just a prank.

I think he's referring to the fact that before the prank, "Liking" something was actually called "Reacting".  Notifications, and on the post itself were all referred to as "Reactions".

Post-prank, they're now called "Likes"

wait... did @Vanamonde just learn something new? I thought as a Moderator you would know these kinds of things!

We cannot confirm or deny Vanamonde's previous knowledge of said occurrences, revelations relating to recent events, or future intentions at this time.

If there were no "likes", then how could we please our ego in the rays of glory?

Like this:

@The_Arcitect  "Liked" @kerbiloid post

Basically we type out what we "Liked" physically.  like what some did on the 1020 error.

  • 2 weeks later...

This is probably more like a Shower Thought, but...

...while there has been some general concensus formed  out In Greater Society that 'likes' have a net negative social value (and even the inventor at Facebook has distanced himself from them)...

...I think we should retain focus on the known fact that Kerbal Space Program is probably the most addictive substance known to mankind: with or without 'likes'.

Bearing that in mind, "bring 'em on".  It helps keep nerds off the street at night.  :)

[P.S. 'react' is just a euphemism for 'like' anyway; we see through that immediately.]

[P.P.S. I 'like' KSP.  Help!]
