Hello!
I was wondering if an option could be made so that the ov-100 cargo  bay could open like the stock cargo bay?
like both doors open at the same time, so that we could use the deploy limiter on it to make it a bit more "closed"?
just a thought...

Does anyone else have a problem where the map view is broken for the command pod that comes with this mod? When switching to map view the icon for the active vessel is not displayed and there is no way to focus the ship. The orbit is still drawn correctly however (it's not filters), so the position can be guessed from the orbit line fade. Also the Space Center button at the top is inaccessible, as if the shuttle was eternally in atmospheric flight.
I imagine this could be interference with other mods (I have plenty) but since only SOCK seems to be affected by this bug I wanted to check with other users if anyone else can observe this problem before I start hacking away at my install.
 

EDIT: I discovered the reason for the problem: the hatch locking feature seems broken. It doesn't actually lock the hatches and removing it from cfg fixed the map screen bug.

APAS is there, KJ-10b is there, however there is no kj-10, which is what was on my shuttles (and on the preset ones as I built mine off of those)

Any idea why? I've reinstalled SOCK/shared parts 3 times now
 

I ran into this problem a while ago, and I agree, having to redo a complex craft file from scratch sucks. So here's how I did it:

I figured out where the KJ-10 was from using KerbalX. I then reverted the Benjee10 mod back to when that part was available via Github. Lastly I took the file and turned it into a JSGME mod. It fixed the compatibility issue.

Post if you have further questions. I can also submit what I did to Benjee10 to implement for backwards compatibility if they are interested.

I keep having this issue where after I reload a quicksave or load into a shuttle already in orbit, the RCS pods on the back of the shuttle completely stop working. this has caused to redo launches over and over again because I'm reusing the srb's by landing them with the fmrs mod. is there any way to fix this or is this just something that I have to work around?

this may be due to the rcs being disabled

right click on the tail fuselage and navigate the context menu - had to do this on all my saves since ksp decided randomly to make rcs disabled for yaw and pitch on all of them

Hello! I'm having an issue where I can't get the shuttle to orbit in JNSQ. I'm using an unmodified JNSQ, stock aerodynamics, MechJeb PVG with the settings recommended in the manual, and have Oranges for the External Tank and Photon Corp for the SRBs. What am I doing wrong?

Check out this part from the install instructions ...

They can be installed by placing the contents of the Buran WIP folder into the GameData/Benjee10_shuttleOrbiter/Parts/ folder.

First, I am new.  But I have built in Orbiter a lot of payloads for the shuttle.

But I am trying to get the RMS into a shuttle.  I suspect it is parts, right

Is there a way to see inside the shuttlebay to add payloads?

right click the payload bay and open the doors :P hope you find this useful

The guy has barely any experience in the base game let alone with mods. Over in the ACK thread, he didn't understand staging.

I just echo what cheesecake told you in the ACK thread, play the base game first for a few tens of hours, get a feel of the game first before jumping into mods.
