I like how the sun actually looks like a real sun, instead of just a giant light source.

Not just that. But the skybox looks pretty great. Almost totally black against the light of the sun. I hope it's all dynamic and based on levels of brightness.

The Sun/Sol/Kerbol looks amazing. The ground Scatter in the distance looks to be fairly sizable perhaps the area that the Kerbal is in is just a clear zone without boulders.

Can't believe that after all these years we're finally this close.

I upscaled the background scatter on today’s leek so I could see it better, and it honestly makes me believe that the scatter density in KSP2 will be more like parallax than we think, I just think that there’s areas on the surfaces of planets that have less scatter. (The Minmus plains and the open deserts on dune etc… ) but on other screenshots we’ve seen extremely dense scatter on the rocky bodies like Gilly.

Edit: Image inserts died on me, tell me if the links work or not.

I Mean we have to have somewhere to land and places to dodge boulders like Apollo 11, so it would make sense that the areas that they show us are the more devoid of scatter areas as they are play testing not exploring the game(landing in a clear area taking a screenshot then testing the next thing). Very much hope its like Paralax 2.

Parallax makes traversal near impossible with collisions on. And we know that larger objects in KSP2 will be collideable. Also, the surfaces change, sometimes it's smooth, sometimes it's rocky, just look at any close-ish photos of other celestial bodies in our system. It's not just all that

Just land somewhere else and avoid the area. It's completely normal to have areas with a lot of collideable scatter.
