  2. Thanks! (And yeah I'll see what I can do, but its low on my priorities atm. There were a lot of little bits on the LEM that were actually left completely untextured that I'm finding as I go through...) Idk what you're on about @Stone Blue, but there was ALWAYS Cyrillic on the Saturn V and the LEM. I meant to fully transition all the writing over to it but forgot to. Noice.
  3. That's awesome! Would I be able to put them up on the repo in the BD_Extras folder (with attribution)? I try and keep backups of player tweaks/improvements for the mod so that they're all in one place and never get lost. Yeah yeah yeah... I had the specular turned down because the ascent stage was shiny for some reason and there's a big long explanation but I fixed it and now the texture is properly controlling the specular highlights and I can turn it all the way up and it's great. Now if only we had PBR so I can accurately replicate the properties of kapton foil... I've also added some more of the black covering to the descent stage's rear two panels. I'm wondering if I should add some sort of texture to them. Additionally, I realized that I had the coloring on the legs backwards, and made the large central segment (the one the ladder is attached to on one of the legs) gold and the short section below it the dark metal. I need to re-UV them for the foil to look decent but I have some space left on the sheet.

  5. I used EVE, SVE, scatterer, SVT, Realplume, Planetshine and probably some other stuff I can't remember.
  6. Were you using the github master zip from a couple days ago? I broke the S-II tank reexporting it from Unity. It's fixed in the upload I made just now

  8. Yeah. All that was later retconned out, which is why they're not included in the wiki's media section. EDIT: @davidy12 you can see here, the original arrangement of Freedom had the CGL on Node 2's Zenith, and Kibo on the axial port. This means that incoming Apollo spacecraft have to nearly rub against the Columbus and Destiny modules as they come in to dock.   9. Typo. 'Exposed'. So the pilot could see to dock. Later I believe they switched to TV + a crew member watching through the front MM window for safety / redundancy. There's a few of them if you read through the thread. The early designs/arrangement of the Freedom modules changed a lot after the first couple images as well.
  10. it's from when they still thought the MM would need to leave the windows exposed for docking. Spacelab also is missing the double wide panels.

  13. @Nertea and some others gave me some good critique notes so I have a whole 'nother pass to do on the Saturn stuff. But, just to keep y'all interested... (Note that Skylab needs a small texture pass as well. Also, for those curious, you can see that fully assembled Spacelab/Skylab is ~35k polys) EDIT: Also, @PickledTripod decided to make longer Centaur tanks! I need to take a quick pass at them when I do the rest of Centaur, but hurray! One more piece of the Atlas V puzzle!
  14. I took the screenshots in Unity. I didn't notice, but I was zoomed out enough that the mipmaps kicked in. They're the same resolution as before.
  15. Yeah I never actually made an engine for that service module. I sort of abandoned the Gemini stuff when it was partway done because I wanted to move forward on Apollo/Saturn/LEM. Saturn V WIP textures are up! If anyone has feedback please let me know!
  16. Sucks, doesn't it? you wish you had time to make every idea in your head. Most of the time I feel like I'm rushing to finish something just so I can move onto the next thing.
