  1. Originally written by @kujuman, adopted by @Ser, and now it's my turn. Note that @Serhas indicated that if sometime in the future, if he comes back, he may take the mod back. Original thread here: https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/77062-11-navutilities-ft-hsi-instrument-landing-system/ @Ser's thread here: https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/162967-140-181-navutilities-continued-ft-hsi-instrument-landing-system-v072-2018-apr-1/ Note: This version is forked from @Lisias's version which he maintains for his own use. It has a lot of bug fixes and improvements, I've removed the need for his KSPe library. My thanks to him for his permission to use it NavUtilities for KSP Featuring Instrument Landing System and Horizontal Situation Indicator Standalone and for Raster Prop Monitor Standalone version is a popup window, but the information displayed is the same Adds a horizontal situation indicator with integrated ILS functionality to a popup window or your RPM cockpit. The standalone version can be accessed (along with the options page and custom runway page, for controlling the current runway and GUI scale) via the toolbar or Blizzy toolbar. ILS style localizer, glideslope indicator, distance measuring equipment, and backcourse indicator. Outer, Middle, and Inner Markers are fully functional, with the audio cue volume controlled by your Voices volume setting (WARNING: Middle and Inner marker audio cues are high pitch and, depending on your settings, may be loud). Currently, volume settings will not update when in flight, but going to the space center should update them. The window GUI auto hides when you enter IVA. Current runway and glideslope selection remain synced between the standalone GUI and the version for RPM. Included selectable runways: KSC 09 KSC 27 Island 09 Island 27 VAB Helipad East VAB Helipad West Administration Helipad Included glideslopes range from default 3° to 25° More runways and glideslopes can be added via config file or in game. Helpful images of 0.4.0+ features Please note that if you are using KSI MFD, you can also select the HSI by cycling between this and the landing screen. Thanks to @Tahvohck ! The settings window holding Alt when pressing the toolbar button, or by right-clicking on the toolbar button Copy the contents of GameData folder into your main KSP/GameData/ folder. The other files are not required for the plugin to function. To enable some third party MFD support or to be able to modify runway data in a convenient way you'll need Dependencies Module Manager by sarbian New Dependencies Click Through Blocker ToolbarController SpaceTuxLibrary Module Manager (not needed in standalone mode) For RPM integration you'll additionally need RasterPropMonitor by Mihara and MOARdV Availability Source: https://github.com/linuxgurugamer/NavInstruments Download: https://spacedock.info/mod/2879 and CKAN License: LICENSE AS STATED BY @kujuman: Software License: © 2014-2016. 2. Thanks. If you left the scene and returned, will that make it go away? how about changing to another ship , either in or not in physics range?
  3. You do know my normal response: No logs, no support. I'll take a look, but the logs would be useful
  4. I've heard from @Ser, will be proceeding with this. Will take a few days to get it out in a new beta
  5. For anyone who was hoping for this, while I have it working, unless @katateochi gives me permission (here in the forum) or changes the license, I can't release an update for 1.12, and he seems to be gone, or at least not responding. Too bad, this was a really nice little mod which works well
  6. You are correct, I was on mobile when I answered. Close, though
  7. Refresh, then try again. If still a problem, contact the CKAN thread
  8. I replied via PM, but am repeating here for anybody else interested: How did you install? If using CKAN, you will need to set the compatibility for 1.12, even though it's a 1.8 install Do you have all the dependencies: ClickThroughBlocker (0.1.10.17) ModuleManager (4.2.1) SpaceTuxLibrary (0.0.6.1) ToolbarController (0.1.9.6) And did you set the option to Allow Suborbital Parking (in the stock settings page)? I just made a totally clean install, installed it using CKAN as I described above, and it did work Otherwise, you will need to send me a log file, and please return this discussion to the forum thread CKAN and the OP have been updated with the new dependency on ModuleManager
  9. I don't know why, I adopted it years ago :-)
  10. I'll think about it. Might be better to have it draggable, rather than sliders like that
  11. @Serhasn't been around since Feb 28. I will be sending him a message, as I usually do, but will start my process and get you a beta
  12. If you are still interested, I can adopt this for 1.12 and get you a version. ‘There are differences between 1.8.1 and 1.12, which may be causing your issues
  13. Very vaguely. But without any information from @Ray Gott we are only guessing. We do t even know if he is using mods or not.
  14. Send me a PM. If I get some time, I’ll see if I can recompile this for you against 1.8. No promises, though, but will need the pm to remind me
  15. Does this happen when you try to launch, or when just going to the launch pad?
  16. Well, sorry then. I only adopted this starting with 1.10.1, can't really help for something I didn't provide. I fixed a number of bugs, there might be something in 1.8.1 which is missing You _did_ install the dependencies, right?
  17. Thanks, but didn't need that. I was just wondering if it might have been a different one; I'm using an RTX 2070 myself, so essentially the same drivers. There might be something else in your system (not a mod) which might be sending messages to the game. No idea, just a thought
