[KSP 1.6.1] Stock Visual Enhancements [v1.4.1] [20 March 2019]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Well this is a pic from NASA during the apollo mission. There are a lot of other images that show the same things. Source: https://history.nasa.gov/ap11ann/kippsphotos/apollo.html The color is a lot harder to see from a distance in real life I assume because it's less noticeable. Scatterer however doesn't desaturated the terminator depending on distance. -
[KSP 1.6.1] Stock Visual Enhancements [v1.4.1] [20 March 2019]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
That is extremely realistic terminator color. It is an awesome feature but if you don't want it, just disable EVE cloud integration on the main menu. -

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
There is no such thing as an off topic as long as it pertains to: space, science, math or physics.. I'm very ignorant to many of these conversations and find them fascinating. I have learned a lot from a lot of different people on these forums.- 7,371 replies

[KSP 1.6.1] Stock Visual Enhancements [v1.4.1] [20 March 2019]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
It's something with the new scatterer.. it's not something I can fix. It's just makes it darker than older versions. Planet shine can fix it or try an ambient light mod. There are a couple of mods floating around the forums that are 1.2.2 compatible -

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Yeah the only think I can do with KSC2 is remove it, which I thought I did. I'll have to look to see if something has changed. I wish I could move it though. There are so many places I could put it- 7,371 replies

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I can do anything about the dishes. Kopernicus is not capable of moving PQSCity or PQSCity2 yet, besides KSC which uses a custom plugin inside kopernicus to move it.- 7,371 replies

[1.5.1] Kerbal Star Systems [v0.8.2] August 18, 2018
Galileo replied to StarCrusher96's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Well 8 gigs still isn't very much ram and I'm sure this mod will probably crash your game eventually once the ram usage hits 8 gigs, and it will with the amount of bodies in the mod and dependencies included with it. What's causing lag for you though is your GPU. EVE and scatterer rely heavily on the GPU. No amount of ram can help you with those 2 mods. You will need a new GPU to run this mod or any other planet pack with Scatterer and EVE smoothly.- 4,170 replies

Try changing the name of Gael and Ciro to Kerbin and Sun and see if that makes a difference. -

[KSP 1.6.1] Stock Visual Enhancements [v1.4.1] [20 March 2019]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
EVE is the most basic cloud cfgs you can get. SVE uses the EVE plugin but it includes its own, more intricate and detailed textures and cfgs. It's more performance hungry as well. SVE will work with KSS but only on the stock bodies. KSS adds about 35 MORE bodies and many of them have clouds. That is for starcrusher to add. -
did you right click and activate the antenna? then choose a ground station to connect to? Its not the heightmap, stock ground stations have zero interaction with RT and I'm sure its not in the cfg. Seti and RT should not be interfering in anyway If its a cfg you wrote for KSS there is probably an issue because A LOT has changed with KSS in the last couple weeks to include index number changes

No they shouldn't be, look inside the cfg included with the sunflares and copy over the flareSettings and the spikesSettings. There are three values (x,x,x) The first value is the intensity should be at least 0.55. That's what I'm using and will include with GPP in the future i just looked at what is currently bundled with GPP and that should be fine unless you changed that value before. Currently in GPP that first value is 0.6

Yeah it is but that's by design and for intended accuracy
