  1. When the stock dV readouts came in 1.6, I uninstalled KER and used Basic Orbit (for orbital info in flight view) in conjunction with the stock dV. The dV readout seems to be quite accurate, but I've found it doesn't like the OMS engines from Cormorant Aeronology (I haven't tested any other mod engines).
  2. Nah. I reckon @Ultimate Steve will post at least three more chapters before midnight.
  3. 1.6 is pretty stable. I haven’t had any bad crashes and there seems to be some performance improvements.
  4. Hmm, interesting. This will certainly give me a reason to explore Kerbin more! I think I'll have a go.
  5. @Jay_Party Welcome to the forums! I assume you're using Tundra Exploration (great mod, I use it too). You've got a craft file there with parts from Tundra Technologies (by the same author as Exploration) so you'll need to download that mod to get it to work: Note that both Tundra mods share a thread, so you'll need to scroll down a little to find TT. Alternatively, you could just download another craft file from the mod that doesn't have those parts in it.
  6. The hype builds! Does anyone know of the exact time that New Horizons will pass by Ultima Thule?
  7. @NorthernDevo I love the changes to the Mk2 lander can- it is indeed awesome! The bug can be fixed by verifying the game files through Steam. I’ve heard that it’s an issue with the way Steam is downloading files right now.
  8. I haven’t tried it, but I reckon it does. Not many mods got broken when 1.6 dropped.
  9. Came here expecting something split from another thread. Found that moderators actually play KSP.
  10. @Lotsaskink Welcome to the forums! The launcher has not been supported officially by SQUAD for a long time...I'd recommend you download updates from the KSP Store/Steam and launch from the .exe in the KSP root folder.
  11. I got the LEGO Saturn V for Christmas, and feverishly worked on it until I was able to finish it this afternoon. It is an awesome model (I have pics, but I don't want to go through the trauma of using Imgur on my phone) and includes all three stages, the CSM and LM and even three tiny figures to scale with the rocket. For Xmas I also received several books, including a Haynes book about the USS Enterprise and the 'Space Shuttle Operator's Manual' which is essentially a detailed guide on how to fly the Space Shuttle (if I ever get to fly on a Shuttle, which is extremely unlikely I will bring that book along). It was published in 1988, so some parts are out of date, but it still does the job.
  12. @MCCreeper8890 Your problem is: you don’t have any relay antennas aboard. You do have antennas, but they’re only for transmitting science experiments. For your relays to work, they’ll need an RA-2, RA-15 or RA-100 relay antenna. I wish you good luck in your communications exploits! Edit: Ninja’d by @Snark
  13. Banned all of you because I wasn’t on the forums yesterday and didn’t have the time to ban you.
  14. On floor 5021, every verb will be in the future tense. You will wonder why this and the previous floor are so fixated on tenses, and will hurry to the next floor before your grammar gets confused.
  15. It already works nicely...you can even switch the control point to face forward
  16. @ianyikos it says ‘video unavailable’.
  17. How much shorter is the Grasshopper-Starship than a full-size Starship?
  18. This is just a friendly space game forum. However, imagine if dislikes were enabled, and user X didn't like something that user Y posted, and disliked their post. User Y might take that as an insult and start disliking everything that user X posts, and that could start a negative rep war between those two users.
  19. I guess since it actually significantly changes shape when it's switching variants, that confuses MM and causes it to go nuclear.
