[1.12.5] Restock - Revamping KSP's art (August 28)
EchoLima replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
If only there was a website that showed ReStock's progress... -
I'd love to see this, but that's only possible if Star Theory has rights to it. The original theme was written by HarvesteR I believe. IDK if its included in the IP purchased by Take Two.

Tilt 'Em- axial tilt

That can't be a good thing. Deadlines should be based on when development is expected to be complete, not on the whims of other people. And once KSP2 is released there will be things can can't be change even if they're in an unfinished state, unless Star Theory is comfortable with save-breaking updates.

Speculations on what the new KSC will look like.
EchoLima replied to GoldForest's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
Wow, nice work! How did you make it? -
This planet was shown briefly in the Developer Story video at about 8:42: What do you think of it? I quite like the canyon and the large crater - this planet seems to be more interesting than the original ones

Maybe a game that explores the kerbal race before the start of their space program. I imagine a top-down strategy game centered around a group of kerbals entering from some cave or a crashed spacecraft. The goal would be to develop a city (or multiple cities) using Kerbin's natural resources, and would be focused on creating technology: train routes, power generation, propeller planes, etc. Along the way you'd discover the purpose of the monoliths. The game would culminate in the creation of KSC and the first rocket launch.

SquStar Theory said in a Youtube comment they "will look to follow a similar format to the post-launch support of the original game" (source), implying paid DLCs, not microtransactions.

Will KSP2 have MacOS support at launch?

That makes me more worried than before. Why is the original KSP being brought into this? Edit: I can't read.

KSP 2 will have multiplayer! source

Will development on KSP 1 continue after 1.8?
-
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I never thought I'd see this day

The parts should be redone entirely. The scales of KSP 1's (feels weird to write that) parts didn't make sense: the majority of probe cores shouldn't be smaller than a kerbal, for example. Also the engine bells for vacuum engines should be made much larger.

CKAN (The Comprehensive Kerbal Archive Network); v1.28.0 - Dyson
EchoLima replied to politas's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Do you have Process Lasso installed by any chance? I have it and it caused CKAN to lag. -
[WIP] Nert's Dev Thread - Current: various updates
EchoLima replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
I suggest a Pioneer RTG / SNAP-19 analogue. Stock KSP is missing a primitive RTG for early outer solar system exploration. -
Somewhat tangentially related, here's how I would recommend re-ordering the orbital information panel to better display the info:

New Suit for DLC 3
EchoLima replied to GoldForest's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I'd like a Mercury-style silver suit. -
Maybe a mobile game where you select a pre-built lander and can choose a planet or moon to land on from orbit.
