    My great-grandfather was the only one of him and his nine siblings to survive the war. He emigrated from Poland to the US right in time - 1939 ( or maybe 38?). Never forget.

    Where's KurtJMac? He's the one who got me into KSP in the first place. I voted for Danny2462. Love his content. Second place would probably be Raiz Space or Scott Manley.

    I went through that last year. Fun times... I slept earlier today and now I'm wide awake, so I might as well watch the launch. (Edit: The launch isn't until 3:20 and they're not actually recovering the core, so maybe not)

    1.1 The upgrade to Unity 5 significantly improved performance and reduced the frequency of the crashes/memory leaks. For the first time (at least from what I remember), KSP was a stable game.

    I'd say its easier to add landing legs to a craft than to encase it in airbags. It's a tradeoff- different items have different benefits.

    Last time they showed in-game footage people complained about the framerate (despite it being pre-alpha). Maybe they're waiting until the game is more presentable to show more of it.

    I never had coffee. I don't like the the smell and just avoid drinking it. I plan on becoming a doctor though so I suspect that will change...

    Shower thought: The current version of KSP would be 0.33.3 if version numbers were never skipped.

    Yes, if I wanted to explore the same planets I'd stick with KSP 1. Star Theory should improve the planets now that they have the chance.

    After the announcement of KSP 2, I started getting interested in doing interstellar missions in KSP 1. What extra-solar system pack/s fit in KSP well? (open-ended question, I'm not looking for anything in particular) (Bonus: Are there any systems that work with JNSQ?)

    If we ever get an asteroid belt, I'll make a colony on Duna to launch mining equipment out of. Duna is cheaper than Kerbin in terms of delta-v, both because its closer to the asteroids and because it has less mass.

    Yeah, I have a hard time seeing the business case for maintaining a game when a sequel designed to supplant it exists.

    Based on the information we have now about KSP 2, do you think you will continue playing KSP 1 once KSP 2 is released? Personally, I'm pretty confident KSP 2 will be significantly better than 1, so I don't think I'll play 1 after the release.
