  1. All we know is that is what SQUAD, and then TTi wanted. And on that note, the thread is locked again.
  2. You mind linking that? I might find use for that in my woodworking and CAD work.
  3. As it stands, only version .13 and older are available for free, if you can find them. .17 and up are still commercially owned by SQUAD and they have chosen not to open them up to the public. @catloaf, your post has been merged with a similar master thread, a lot of your answers can be found reading it and the linked thread it contains. This is the final word from SQUAD, et al, and until we are advised differently, it will remain this way. I have temporarily unlocked this thread if you would like to discuss this, but know that any suggestion of illegal acquisition of the game will not tolerated, and that the versions available will not change.
  4. There are some mods that do help with that, but I think you might be inspired if you check our Fan Works section for some amazing 100% stock builds of highly accurate replicas. Moved to add-on discussion.
  5. Really not sure what we're talking about over the last couple pages, but I'm sure Nertea would appreciate us keeping the thread on topic. Thanks.
  6. Ah yes, I was agreeing with you in the first sentence, and speaking to the masses in the second. In hindsight, I see how that can be misread by you.
  7. That or they meant intragalactic. Let's not be so harsh on a person just because of a typo or misnomer.
  8. Consoles are getting updated roughly 12-18 months behind the PC version.
  9. As mentioned earlier in the thread, please do not ping random people without cause. Also, if you have KSP related content to post, please take it to the appropriate sub-forum so others have the chance to see it. A lot of people intentionally ignore the games sub due to the lack of constructive content.
  10. Are you referring to the contracts that require you to collect so much ore from certain bodies? If so, you just have to collect ore from that body, and then return some ore to it's destination. The delivered ore doesn't have to be from the designated mining site, just delivered after the mining at the specified site has been done. At least that's how it used to work, haven't done one of these contracts in a while. Otherwise there's no use for knowing the source of the ore.
  11. @RandomKerbal, Your post has been merged into the 1.10 Grand Discussion Thread.
  12. No reason it shouldn't. Attach the tesla to your mount however you want, and then reroot to the mount. Moved to gameplay questions.
  13. This. You might get some minuscule improvement with a better GPU, but nothing noticeable. Upgrading the RAM would be pointless, as I don't ever recall a KSP install using that much. And unless you intentionally set out to break the visual mod record, your Gfx card should be fine. Upgrading that machine for KSP's sake is a waste of money.
  14. @tinfever, @Tonka Crash, and @DefenderX1, your replies have been pruned from the KAS thread and placed into the proper KIS thread.
  15. Try the ones from 1.9 and see if they work. If they don't oh well, nothing lost, if they do, come back and report so others can benefit.
  16. Moved over to Add-on Dev sub forum. Good luck with your issue.
  17. Not exactly what you're asking for, but the Final Frontier Mod is one of my "must have" mods for each install. Listed as 1.8, but I know it works in 1.9 at least.
  18. The Borg are the only ones that ever built a decent ship.
  19. Yup, given that most of the steering issues from those days are mainly not the steering issues of today, we'll let this one die a quiet death.
  20. As mentioned, the area surrounding the KSC, which is on the equator, is a huge flat area with no bumps. When they introduced the building upgrades back in the day, the plains around the KSC were far smoother than the level 1 runway. Might still be that way, I always upgrade it before even trying anymore. The only thing you really can't do around the KSC that you would have to do at the poles is going for land speed records, just because the ice sheets are the size of continents.
  21. Maybe they'll rethink they're stream names in the future? Cutting off the video before we could see the failure is kinda funny.
