  1. There's a very good reason to keep the original system, far better than nostalgia. It's a GREAT SYSTEM. It has variety in everything from color to skill level needed, and it has great progression from Kerbin to Mun to Minmus to Duna. The variety is as extensive as it is sparse, not only are there a lot of unique things, there tend to be very few duplicates. And they accomplished all this while maintaining a pretty good resemblance to our own Solar System. If anything, the similarities between Eeloo, Dres, and Moho are thorns in this that just point out how varied and unique each other world is. And now that Dres has asteroids, it's at least a bit okay because Moho is unique to get to and Eeloo at least crosses another planet's path - not that that affects your travel to it in any particular way. Considering how other parts of KSP were balanced and thought out (read: not at all), the planetary system in the game is - in my possibly unpopular opinion - a masterpiece. Any changes to the system then need to be made with all this in mind. Modifying Duna just so it's not Duna anymore would remove the Ike problem, and moving that to another world would need thought on when you want people to encounter that problem. As far as I know the topography of the worlds is fine to mess with. Every picture I've seen of Minmus seems to have eliminated the perfectly flat Flats, which IMO is a good change. Sure it can have Flats, but they shouldn't be absolutely, perfectly flat. I like the colors. What can I say
  2. A picture or (even better in this case especially) video would do wonders here. upload to Imgur and link here to the picture and someone will hopefully see what's up.
  3. And don't get me started on Cheers. I mean, how could 2 waitresses and a single bartender be enough to run a 2-room bar 7 days a week?
  4. Other than lining up the orbits so you don't need to fast forward... No. I don't know of one. I mean, you need to fast forward to get there but you'd need to do that anyway.
  5. Because they didn't steal it from J. Michael Straczynski.
  6. I voted Eyeball McEyeballFace because it wouldn't let me vote "no" on the second part without voting for something on the first part.
  7. I think it's just a 2nd light source that isn't actually a physical object.
  8. I think it would be okay to add new features to existing worlds. Axial tilt, for example. Maybe not to Kerbin or Mun, but would it be so bad if Minmus' tilt matched its inclination? Or if Eve was upside down so it rotated backwards? I don't think any new planets should be added, except maybe one out past Eeloo that they "discovered" between game versions.
  9. I would like it to have 2020 as the year it was posted. I'd be ecstatic if it had July or August in the month. but only if it also had 2020 as the year.
  10. A badly centered/cropped image. IIRC it's the date you get when you use "0" for the time stamp. Likely an old thread from a previous form that failed to transfer all data correctly.
  11. Yes. (I couldn't answer the poll because that wasn't an option)
  12. Can you blame them for not throwing chum in the water when surrounded by sharks? Among the reasons they might not be able to tell you anything are that they are legally bound by a contract to not say anything. Another perfectly valid reason is it's none of our business.
  13. Sorry for not replying earlier it's been a crazy month. Very well done! I love the compact, no-frills Laythe lander. I always end up hauling a plane for Laythe which complicates my mission more than my Tylo lander ever could.
  14. That is downright inaccurate. There are dozens of reasons to keep something PRIVATE (not SECRET) that have nothing to do with those involved being horrible people who only want to scam you out of your money so they can be horrible to others more often.
  15. I don't quite understand the argument. Are they really expensive? Uncomfortable? Restrictive to the point of being dangerous? What does not wearing them accomplish, that is better than shaving off a slight chance of horrible death?
  16. You will. Steam can be slow sometimes, and stagger updates to people to save on heavy bandwidth. I just downloaded it so Steam does have it available. Have you tried to run KSP through Steam? Usually they force update when you try to run something with an update.
  17. If you were a soldier a couple hundred years ago and heard that your army was going to stop using muskets, you'd probably think it was a serious mistake as well. I mean, what do you expect us to do run at 'em with swords? Expecting KSP2 to just flat out remove career mode with no (better) alternative in mind is just as short sighted.
  18. Just finished Carrion (Fun but a bit too easy for the most part. Puzzles were no problem and the combat was either easy, or easy to reload and retry). The biggest hurdle was the map, really. I probably spent about half of my time in the game wandering around trying to figure out where I was expected to go next.
  19. I assume you had a clear sky? Even the spots with no clouds were not perfectly clear. Conditions were... shall we say... not peak.
  20. Or it means people interpreted the first question to mean using multiple monitors for KSP or not.
