  1. As was said, it's not 5x for everything. In fact, IIRC it's actually cheaper to get to Duna this way. It's been a long time since I've played done something like this but I don't recall the extra cost ever being a factor. My favorite thing to do back then was to launch a ship that used its own fuel to do most of the trip to Minmus, so it arrived mostly empty and got fueled up for the interplanetary trip. It felt so efficient.
  2. Frankly if you're refueling at Minmus, fuel is free so I'd just launch from there directly to Eve. No sense saving 150-200m/s with a TON of work and the likelihood of wasting more than that fixing any mistakes in execution.
  3. First day that's not completely cloudy at either sunrise or sunset. Clouds only obscuring half of the sky or so. Saw a point of light "under" the Big Dipper that I don't think is normally there. Checked my phone, it's not normally there. Looked at it through binoculars, looks like a star. Meh, I guess I'll assume it's the comet and check that off my list.
  4. AKA Worrying. wor·ry verb pull at or fiddle with repeatedly. "he began to worry at the knot in the cord"
  5. That would be preferable to one of the suggestions for the new Cleveland Baseball team, the Cleveland Rocks. Mascot:
  6. Actually, while doing that last 90m/s to burn to Eve, you have over 3000m/s of velocity.
  7. Is it okay to check all but 2 of the boxes? I play vanilla. I play with a few mods. I play with a lot of mods. I play with gameplay mods and visual mods. I tend to not install part only mods or play with more than 100 mods.
  8. This. Way back when Kethane was the only way to ISRU, I spent ... geez hours orbiting Mun at 4x time warp at about 8km up in a polar orbit with that huge mass sensor thingy from the mod. Every few minutes I'd reach a pole and the camera would flip around. Over and over. I was mesmerized.
  9. Watched Spider Man Homecoming this weekend and now I can't get Blitzkrieg Bop out of my head.
  10. No option for "Never play multiplayer"
  11. In addition to the fantastic advice from the others, If you want to edit the video at all I recommend another free program, Shotcut.
  12. When you upload to Spacedock there's a CKAN button. Check it, your mod goes on CKAN. Source: I do that. I've never actually used CKAN but those that do tell me my mods are on it.
  13. I've never been banned from Twitter so I don't know what they look for, but I expect cyberhackers may be better at not getting caught than those that have been.
  14. Yeah but cyberhackers are smarter - in general at least - than racists.
  15. Yeah a lot of this work was done in my No Contact Career challenge. On the first page or two I believe. On mobile and busy now or I'd do the legwork for it.
  16. Not particularly a Chicago fan, or a fan of this song. I don't dislike it but don't think I've ever heard it except on the radio and back on MTV when they used to do music. I have no idea why it's in my head. But it won't leave.
  17. I'm not saying it's an unreasonable expectation. I'm just saying it's going to make you sad and angry.
  18. That's why procedural fuel tanks and a better VAB UI are on my wish list. But that's a different thread.
  19. You seem to have high expectations for others and unless you want to spend your life sad and angry, you may want to temper them a bit.
  20. Some things need you to test them by right clicking, instead of staging. I don't know why. If that doesn't work, I'd like to see a screen shot of your ship landed with all the check boxes checked. And if all else fails, you can fix it by alt-f12 contract debugging, and complete the contract that way. You'll get the money and everything. It's not cheating if you're doing it to get around a bug.
  21. Noooooo it's good! And if you truly do dislike it, the 2nd part of my favorites (easy planet editing) means you can change the tilts to be 0 with a simple config change, either with whatever ModuleManager will be for KSP2, or even better with an integrated system that doesn't actually need a mod.
  22. I can't tell if that's a good ergh or a bad ergh, but yes, Axial Tilt is confirmed for KSP2. https://www.videogameschronicle.com/features/interviews/an-in-depth-conversation-with-the-creator-of-ksp2/
