  1. reddit just gives me the eventual "These are very weird questions", but doesn't go into detail. Well, except for Michael Cera I hope it's being recorded so I can watch later at home, anyway
  2. reddit cooled down, is it over? Oh, NVM, something just popped
  3. You missed "government in the 21st century". Things are different politically and socially, now. I agree with you, tho. Risks are needed, and this is a pretty large step.
  4. This. Not only the money, but there's no way a government in the 21st century is going to send 100 people on a mission, where "the first journeys will be very dangerous, the risk of fatalities will be high. Likely no children - must be prepared to die".
  5. @Whackjob, clearly
  6. By the way, keep the comments coming. I can't open videos on my work computer and my data plan is over for the month, you're my eyes and ears
  7. Different atmospheric pressures require different nozzle shapes for optimal Isp. Check the KSP engines, they all have different vacuum and sea level Isps, and some are better for vacuum, others for sea level
  8. The Exocist: a tumor grows outside a girl, then detaches itself and kills two priests.
  9. Clarifying on my buddy's sarcasm, what he means is that there is no way to set up (in stock) a different progression for parts, not related to science points. Like, for example, buy-and-wait, that may sound dumb but makes sense when (a lot of currently inexistent) other features complement it to make time a sensible resource. I'd like to see that too; I've played with different mod combinations but haven't yet achieved a satisfactory time-as-resource feeling. Anyway, on the original topic, I agree with @Vanamonde, the all the different game "modes" could be encompassed in a better modular settings system with defaults, which is more like the LEGO mentality of KSP rocket-building.
  10. I'm talking specifically about the ones that appear on screen messages, like changing cameras, quicksave/quickload, etc. First of all, they're awesome, crisp and stand out, way better than the old ones on lower resolutions; but I think the dark outline could be made just a little more subtle. As it is, it seems as thick as the inner yellow line, which makes them stand out more than the yellow itself (since there's a black line on either side, but just a single yellow in the middle). Anyone else thinks so, too?
  11. THE MANEUVER NODES ALIGN THEMSELVES WITH THE POST-MANEUVER ORBIT!! How long has this been a thing?? Thank you, @SQUAD.
  12. (this is pasted from awesome Project Rho, which in turn is quoting from a novel by Larry Niven; the editor's note is from @nyrath who runs the site.) From Grendel by Larry Niven (1968)
  13. OMG this is awesome. Best thing is how @Red Iron Crown got it implemented within hours of (re)suggestion <3 (I once thought of a Kerbal expression I thought was missing, but can't remember now...)
  14. Honestly? I think this and the million other little cool additions and quality of life upgrades to be the game changer of 1.2
  15. Also, if you alt-click a part, instead of grabbing it (and it's children), it will duplicate
  16. Np++ is awesome, and you just made it a bit awesomer :3
  17. LOL. I've seen the bar on the portraits, but didn't get see it rise yet. Not trying hard enough, obviously.
  18. You know, after the big bolded letters, this tone is pretty funny XD Anyway, I'm loving 1.2. Played just a little bit last night, the new orbits are ROCK SOLID and the encounters perfectly predicted. I had this Minmus flyby mission, and just for fun I made this orbit that flew by the Mun 3 times before doing a slingshot to Minmus. Took me 40 days do get there, but - HEY! It was awesome.
  19. What I meant was, having "the" before Demogorgon is not as bad as calling the Tarrasque "a" Tarrasque. Spoiler?
  20. Could be "the epic Demogorgon from that specific quest we played". Anyway, better than a Tarrasque...
