  1. Working on a bit of a surprise project tonight that is long overdue over on Twitch, followed by more progress on Skylab. Cheers!
  2. Hrmm... I think the only way this would work is if you actually did rewrite the gravity system to have the flat earth (or as I like to call it, Star Wars ) model of orbital mechanics, ie, you go straight up until you cut your engines, at which point you stop, and then you only move when have your thrusters on (ie, no conservation of momentum). Sounds fun but I think that's too deep into the game's code to be modified, no?
  3. I honestly don't care even if they're on the thread. The real versions will come eventually and until then, if it keeps people off my back...
  4. Oh, I'm gonna have to call in backup then. @Jso why did you (and solely you, not me) make broken configs?
  5. I'm not sure, if you're not using a 64x (that's 6.4 times) system rescale you can just delete that folder.
  6. I actually didn't get a massive amount done. I got the arms for the skylab solar arrays UV'd and partially textured, I cleaned up some other stuff, I real quickly modeled the Apollo Blk1 nosecone.
  7. Because that's how @cxg2827 had it. I think they could have their strength tweaked, I'll text @jso about it. Well, good news an bad news. Good news, my NASA application is submitted, meaning I can work on BDB again guilt free! Since my plans fell through somewhat, I am free to stream tonight! Bad news, they fell through because I'm coming down with a nasty cold. I'll see how I feel as the night goes on, but if I pull it together, expect a development stream tonight starting sometime between 6 and 7 Eastern (a little over an hour from this post), on Twitch.
  8. Very much. But that isn't my wheelhouse, you'd have to poke around where the RO folks live.
  9. A detailed LEM IVA is being worked on. One detail in particular made me chuckle - Kerbals need to be seated in an IVA, and obviously, the LEM was flown standing. As a workaround, our IVA modeler made new seat props using their EVA helmets so they could reach the controls. I completely agree, though I really think the FASA assets are showing their age quite a bit, or at least, the textures haven't aged well. I wish someone would make a full realistic rocket pack to replace it.
  10. There was an additional patch linked just below the link to 6.0, you might be able to bash those fixes for the legs into the 1.1.3 version with a little bit of config editing.
  11. it's not even 'fixing one mod', it's fixing the damn game... unless you want Tantares parts to be hilariously underpowered compared to other parts in your install...
  12. Point being that, the Tantares parts are balanced the same as every other part in the game. The thing is, when you are trying to use realistically proportioned rockets, you see how easy Kerbal is because the rockets are oversized for the solar system. The easier solution is just to rescale the solar system since then all your parts will work right...
  13. Check @Jebs_SY's update for FASA, it might be working better than the release you're using. It's the latest official update for the pack.
