  1. I built an SLS complete with Orion spacecraft, despite my I'll-believe-it-when-I-see-it attitude towards that particular rocket... The fancy plumes are from Realplume. I highly recommend it, because its plumes are far superior to the stock ones. Big shout out to @Zorg for keeping it maintained! I even created the ICPS, with its multitude of struts. Moar fancy plumes! Hullo Mun! Back home safe.
  2. Sadly it's cloudy (as normal) over here in the UK And there go the sats!
  3. If they could have just delayed five minutes, I would have been able to see it live At least I'll be able to see SES-2 and payload deployment. Well, whatever. That was a flawless launch and booster landing. Sad that they didn't recover the fairing...
  4. Actually, I believe it’s not available through those means anymore, but it’s still in the game files. Look under Squad/zDeprecated (it’ll be somewhere in there), and move it to Squad/Parts/Command (or something like that) and you should be able to use it.
  5. Could you possibly direct me to that download? I've never used TU before so I don't really know what I'm doing - when I installed TU all of the Starship parts were a shiny black instead of silver.
  6. Yup...you don’t want hypergolic fumes wafting across populated Florida...
  7. Do we? Cool, but I thought you decided to use the stock shader. Maybe you could make two versions, one TU and one stock. I did, it still seemed to flip... Do the fins on the Superheavy engine cluster actually act as aerodynamic surfaces? That might help the flipping issue.
  8. @damonvv I downloaded the beta and installed it, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, because all of the parts are showing up light grey instead of shiny: Also, I noticed that it's extremely difficult to avoid flipping the SS/SH stack during launch.
  9. Or this: Much more lightweight and simpler if you only want to switch between LFO and LF.
  10. I hear ya. Most of my classes at school have a bunch of idiots in them, and I don't understand why they bother. It's only going to negatively impact them later in life. The only classes that are completely free of them are my science classes, mostly because I'm in the highest-level class and the 'geniuses' (as you put it) don't put nearly enough effort in to make it up here.
  11. @Nertea Thanks a lot for the update! The metallic variants are awesome, I spent a good hour mucking around in the VAB with them! One thing though - I'm pretty sure that I found a bug. The 2.5m multipoint connector doesn't seem to have any option for the new textures. Screenshot for reference: As you can see, the smaller connector does have the metal textures available, so this seems like a bug to me. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Also, a small suggestion: would it be possible to have metallic variants for the self-levelling base frames, too? Just for completeness I (and I'm sure many others) really do appreciate you continuing to maintain your awesome mods for us. You are a pillar of the community
  12. @The Flying Kerbal Try verifying your game files through Steam.
  13. What about kinetic and gravitational potential energy?
  14. 1.8 revamped the 3.75m fuel tanks, so I’d reckon the 1.9 update will redo the 3.75m engines to match.
  15. Now that’s impressive How long did Jeb have to sit in that command chair though?
  16. @Funkrusha 1.8 broke Kerbal Konstructs, which is why KSC Extended isn’t appearing. We’re going to have to wait for a patch for KK to bring it up 1.8.x standard.
  17. @Mikenike They’re probably not going to give a release date. Remember when they did that with Making History for consoles? When they had to postpone the release, a bunch of people got mad at them.
  18. Dangit, this thread has been locked again.
  19. They sold the rights to Private Division (which is itself a subcompany of Take2 Interactive). Private Division also owns Star Theory - which is why they’re making KSP2 in the first place - but other than that Star Theory and SQUAD are separate companies.
  20. @Fierce Wolf Why would you think that 1.9 isn't coming at some point? It's been said multiple times, SQUAD will continue development of KSP1 even after the release of KSP2. The games will run alongside each other for the foreseeable future. Also, I don't think we'll get 1.8.2, I think it'll just jump straight to 1.9.0. With the exception of the versions where the DLCs were released, they've stuck to a format of one minor update to every major version change.
  21. Yes, probably because Missing History and Indicator Lights are both authored by Snark
