Zorg
MB60 is now on github. This was a proposal for future Delta IV and H2A upgrades and briefly was considered for SLS' EUS (in a 2x form) The engine is an expander bleed design with additional boost pumps for high chamber pressure. The bleed exhaust is injected in the nozzle extension for film cooling which recovers some Isp from the open cycle. Pictured here on an improved Delta IV heavy with regen RS68 engines. The film cooling also allows the use of a simple sheet metal nozzle extension. Mitsubishi stated 467s Isp ( maybe optimistic?), the name is from the 60k lbf thrust target. There was also a smaller MB-35 variant not modelled here. An RL10B2 makes 24.7k lbf. 2x MB60 was considered for EUS for a short while. 2 would produce more thrust than 4x RL10s. Absolutely impressive, my favorite upper stage engine!

(couldn't locate a previous ask, but I'm sure someone's mentioned this before?) There is a subtype with a different overlap if that is what you are referring to. I don't know enough about MM to go and fix them myself, so if someone could take a look it would be greatly appreciated. Do you have DeadlyReentry installed? If so, this is fixed in dev. It is, but there isn't. You might be thinking of the 1.875 interstage that has several subtypes.

The only things to watch out for would be the Apollo advanced heatshield with the landing legs, and the Venus Flyby Probe. Both of those part's heat shields would not work. If you want to fix it to make your loading screen look nicer in the meantime, download this file (right-click and save as): https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CobaltWolf/Bluedog-Design-Bureau/1.11-development/Gamedata/Bluedog_DB/Patches/Thermal/engines.cfg And replace the one in your Gamedata/Bluedog_DB/Patches/Thermal/ folder @OrbitalManeuvers On dev branch now. Not the ideal situation with the black bits of AO showing, but good enough imo.

OrbitalManeuvers
Last of a screenshot surge ... the beloved Delta with both ground and air lit SRBs, from LC-41 at Cape Canaveral And the new MB-60 powering the upper stage, delivering a big honkin relay sat. zakkpaz
Small request, can can you please change it so we can use both the bottom and rim decoupler nones on the Voyager Mars heatshield and backshell? it would make it way easier to use for other landers and rovers

If it's used with more than 1 engine most times the ports can actually dock with each other, but the structure is clipping with some of the engines Cobalt just split up the mesh, so I've set this up and is now on dev. 2 hours ago, zakkpaz said: Small request, can can you please change it so we can use both the bottom and rim decoupler nones on the Voyager Mars heatshield and backshell? it would make it way easier to use for other landers and rovers Fair, I've added some more node options to both the HS and BS, on dev branch now too. Pudgemountain
I originally was not gonna take pictures of this reentry test flight for a possible sample return mission but I changed my mind when I found out we were launching during a Munar Eclipse. First Gen Atlas rockets make great cheap launch vehicles for reentry test especially since I don't have to waste a Titan. Pappystein
So still building my new ISS station. Just started launching the russian Segment... Utilizing Delta IV Heavy UPG... I am not posting a full album but I thought I would share this: Twin MB-60 DCSS. Had to toe the engines out by 5 degrees so they wouldn't hit each other but it works and it fits! Now if the damn game wouldn't quit crashing when I get this NEAR the space station!

Last night I was doing a trial run of a Sample return probe when for no reason the Kraken unleashed itself on the return trip, crashed the game and forced me into a hard restart of my computer. Pudgemountain
While still working on a sample return vessel we decided to extend the Mercury Lab's life support system capable to last months. The LS tanks are different color to distinguish the supplies and waste. Nothing lab related but I still love the Waterfall effects of the Retro motors. Overall Erly Kerman has lasted a total of 90 days in orbit and currently holds the record for longest stay in space. As for cabin fever thank the Kraken that Erly is a Introvert. On a technical note I did have decals on the vessel and rocket but for some reason Conform Decals keep going invisible during launch.
