[Minimum KSP version - 1.11] Kerbal Attachment System (KAS) v1.12
RealKerbal3x replied to IgorZ's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@IgorZ I've been using KAS 1.2 for a while and I noticed that the telescopic joint/towbar now looks identical to a socket. Is this intentional? -
[Minimum KSP version - 1.11] Kerbal Attachment System (KAS) v1.12

I don't know (ask @IgorZ) but at least you can find KAS 1.1 (which still has the legacy parts) on Spacedock. -

Aww, really universe? Please just let SpaceX recover STP-2’s centre core. -
[Minimum KSP version - 1.11] Kerbal Attachment System (KAS) v1.12

You can look on Spacedock, it allows you to download old versions of the mod. -
I had an old ship where RCS clusters were arranged radially around that decoupler, and with the upgrade to the new parts they were floating in mid-space. It might cause some issues...if you had stuff attached to the top of the old version of that part, the parts on top might be floating above the now much thinner decoupler. I would recommend making a backup of your persistent.sfs before you update.

I had a few ships/debris left over from 1.3.1 with the old parts and KSP automatically upgraded them to the new ones for me when I updated to 1.7, if that helps. Of course, some parts (like the decouplers) have changed shape, so your ships might look a little weird.

The Munar Transfer Station got its second lander. Man, this place is gonna get crowded when Mun base operations get underway.

I’ve been playing with 1.7 for the past few days and my verdict is that it’s a pretty solid version. I’ve encountered no major bugs and just like every other post-1.4.x version, it hasn’t caused harm to any of my mods. Plus, it appears that some more performance improvements have been made. The new manoeuvre mode is very well done. It’s nicely integrated into the existing UI and provides a good stock replacement for Precise Manoeuvre. I would, however, like some more of the features from PM to be integrated, such as the circularise button and the ability to add the manoeuvre to your Ap/Pe or ascending/descending node. But good job overall, SQUAD!

What are NASA's odds for landing on the Moon in 5 years?
RealKerbal3x replied to Cunjo Carl's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Uh, no. At the moment, I think SpaceX is going to beat NASA to the Moon (and probably Mars). They're significantly further on with their (universal I might add, it's capable of landings on both the Moon and Mars) Starship program. Meanwhile at NASA, the SLS hangs in the balance and they don't even have a lander design. -
Welcome, @Flibble...the way you play compared to the way I play shows just how diverse KSP is. I would probably have committed suicide by now if I was playing with no reverts

Shmauck's Space Program (Stock Career 1.6.1 - 1.7)
RealKerbal3x replied to Shmauck's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
@Shmauck Nice! Just a thing, you can take screenshots in-game using the F1 key. They'll appear in the Screenshots folder of your root KSP folder. -

I really hope it doesn't scrub now. I've gone to the trouble of getting up in the middle of the night -
