  1. @Angel-125 Not sure if this is PEBCAK or a bug, but when I put Cyclone engines on my airship and try to set up an action group for reverse thrust it doesn't work (the airship moves forward rather than backward). When I'm adding the engines to the airship, I have four facing backward, so I set those on reverse by default and have the action group 'Toggle Forward/Reverse Thrust' for all eight engines. Reverse thrust seems to work on your sample craft, but not if I build it from scratch, which is odd. Of course, I might be being stupid and it works absolutely fine.
  2. Sorry, I might not have phrased my question correctly. I was wondering, if you have SSPXR and Restock installed together, are the Restock revamps automatically disabled or vice versa?
  3. Hey @Nertea I’m curious...If you have Restock installed alongside SSPXR, which mod’s revamps (for the Hitchhiker, MSL and 1.25m docking port) take priority?
  4. The Deep Purple isn't going to Eve, but it's going to be exploring Kerbin. I just got the idea to name airships after rock bands I'll probably do the Led Zeppelin for another airship. By the way, the mod I use for airships is Heisenberg.
  5. This isn't exactly a proper naming system, but I like having Star Trek style ship's registries for my ships. So I have the type of ship, for example LAV for Lighter Than Air Vessel (or airship) or DSV for Deep Space Vessel. Then I have the type number and the ship number - for example, 1701 would be ship type 17 vessel 1. You end up with names like Hermes DSV-0204 or Deep Purple LAV-0101.
  6. 1.3.1. The last version with the horrible old Rockomax tank textures that looked like oil drums.
  7. @Snark I understand your reasoning...not everyone wants everything bundled together. Now that I think of it, having a bunch of random parts together in a single mod always annoys me, so I have to prune parts out. But, if you’re going to make more of these you could always do what other modders have done and release them as ‘modlets’ in a single thread, so people can pick and choose what they want.
  8. @Snark That little VTOL jet looks amazing! I know you’re hesitant to turn this into a mod in its own right, but since you seem to specialise in the ‘why isn’t this stock?’ mods, maybe this little thruster could be included alongside some other useful and entirely config-based parts. Just a suggestion, and I’m not asking for this by any means, but there are certainly a lot of useful parts which could be relatively easily made by just rescaling stock parts via config.
  9. They’re too busy watching Star Trek.
  10. There are most likely tutorial videos on YouTube that you can watch to learn how to do it, but it’s generally pretty intuitive and the act of adding your own names is very simple.
  11. No, take a close look at the image in the post above yours. Specifically, the rocket on the far right
  12. Thanks @IgorZ! KAS is essential for my game and it’s good to see it compatible with 1.7.
  13. Don’t worry, nobody really posts on my thread either* but I keep making mission reports there because I like to document stuff. *With the notable exception of @Kerballing (Got Dunked On), who seems to frequent every thread in KSP Fan Works and Mission Reports
  14. Not as far as I know, but it’s as simple as putting a text box over one of the rectangles on the ‘CA_decals’ file and typing whatever name you want. I just used MS paint to do mine and it worked nicely. No need for anything more complicated or expensive.
  15. @cubinator You could probably expand on the edge of the Solar System by doing one on the Oort Cloud.
  16. @Flamerunners The 'Add-ons' button on the main menu is just a web link to a site where you download mods. You need to click Start Game when you get to the main menu, and there should be two buttons: 'Play Missions' and 'Mission Builder' underneath the normal options. The other features of MH (the parts, launchsites and alternate spacesuit) should be available in your save games. You'll need to turn on the other launch sites as they're off by default. The option to turn them on isn't in the main settings, you'll need to enter your save and click the Settings button on the pause menu. Once you're there you can click the 'Difficulty' button and find the option that says something like 'Enable Other Launchsites'.
  17. At the moment, HL works fine in the current version of KSP. I’ve been using it with @Angel-125‘s Heisenberg parts pack without issues.
  18. Whoa there, I don’t think @Nertea has any time to marry you even if he wanted to
  19. Well, the engines are the most expensive part. At least STP-2 will have an FH-compatible octograbber so this won't happen again.
  20. @SiriusRocketry This is brilliant! I will be following along
  21. I always hold my breath when I walk past smokers. It’s literally burning leaves and breathing in the smoke It really beats me why people do it.
  22. There's a slider next to the graphical manoeuvre editor that allows you to change the 'strength' (so to speak) of the editor. Also, you can enter numerical values to make it more accurate.
