Memory leak possible
RealKerbal3x replied to Lankspace's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
@Lankspace What version of KSP are you running? There was a pretty big memory leak in 1.5 and prior which was fixed in version 1.6. -
@Angel-125 I was just thinking, in SSPXR with this mod, the greenhouses still need Ore to make Snacks, which is kinda weird. Maybe a separate ‘greenhouse’ part module could be made, which makes Snacks without the need for Ore or any other resources, but much slower than the normal snack processor. Of course, just a suggestion. I’m not asking you to add this to the mod or anything

There is this mod which hides the VAB, so you can build big: Don't worry that it says it's for 1.5.1, it should work fine in 1.6.1.

ISSUES UPDATING TO 1.6
RealKerbal3x replied to Tomtomdb83's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Why would you want 1.6.0? 1.6.1 fixed several annoying (and in one case gamebreaking) bugs, and didn't break any mods. -
P.S.A. "Cannot Deploy While Stowed"
RealKerbal3x replied to Ratwerke_Actual's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I think there’s an option somewhere on the antenna PAW that lets you force it to deploy even if it’s stowed. Something like ‘Deploy Stowed’. -
[Minimum KSP version - 1.12] Kerbal Inventory System (KIS) v1.29
RealKerbal3x replied to IgorZ's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
There is already a Mk3 formfactor, which is basically a 3.75m one with the sides cut off. Though I agree, a 3.75m container would be useful. -

[1.10.0] Kerbal Krash System (0.5.1) 2020-08-05
RealKerbal3x replied to EnzoMeertens's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@EnzoMeertens I’ve had an eye on this mod for a while, and now it’s updated to 1.6.1 I think I should start using it! I love the idea of my parts crumpling when I crash-land, rather than just exploding. One question: what is its impact on performance?- 735 replies

What was the first thing you did when you bought KSP?
RealKerbal3x replied to KerbolExplorer's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Built a rocket, didn’t check staging and blew up my engine on the launchpad. -
I don’t think it’ll be today... since KSP Loading posted an hour or so ago, I’d reckon the update will drop sometime this weekend.

I put the Munar Transfer Station in orbit around the Mun. Its job will be to handle traffic to and from my future Mun base. I just need to send the crew....a full mission report is available here if you're interested. Who am I kidding...that was another shameless plug for my mission report thread

Control From Here?
RealKerbal3x replied to Elroy Jetson's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
No, that sets the root part of the vessel. I think you can set the control point via an action group though. -
So he’s going to be sitting on a command seat all the way back from Eve....

It’s never been dead...just that I have a lot of school stuff happening right now, so there isn’t much time to play KSP. Since I now seem to have accumulated a couple of readers, what should I do next? Should I continue my Mun infrastructure project, or should I explore Kerbin with an airship first?

Only Cupcake would think of using those Making History R7 booster tanks as pontoons.... Fabulous work once again!
