Fizzlebop Smith replied to taniwha's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I seem to remember reading something about the USI MKS not playing nicely with Extra Planetary Launch Pads... Is this the case or am i misremembering. Trying to put the final touches on my mod list, trying to do it right this time and think the USI suite looks cool. -

Are you using the Patch for Community Parts that removes duplicates? it disables the search for some modded parts, but you can still find them in the associated manufacturers tab. -
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1p8FAZCtlJv-DkXVfZlm9g0u61RTPeLhZ?usp=drive_link Updated Kopernicus Log. Those logs related to distant skies should be helpful, but the Kopernicus general logs will probably be overwritten by one of the newer launches. Should say.. I hope its helpful. This looked pretty interesting and wish you the best of luck.

I've modified my install a bit. I'll check if they are still there. If not I have a vanilla install with everything still in cache. Give me a bit to get home.

I'm only an hour in my newest career playthrough... well finalizing the visual mods... I've never played with this mod... I was 1000 hours into ksp when I learned about "compatible game version" so I did the next thing you might imagine.. Bricked a SaveGame In all honesty though, it was a terrible franken-build that should have died years ago. I'm glad it did.. This mod is pretty friggin epic for immersion. Getting that extra mileage from mid game on. I'm stoked to see this mod among the stars. I want to say a great big THANK YOU to all those who worked on this epic project.

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1p8FAZCtlJv-DkXVfZlm9g0u61RTPeLhZ?usp=sharing I am also having an issue with Kopernicus when i attempt to install Distant Skies. I got OPM to load up by itself so am i assuming (possibly incorrectly) that has something to do with Distant Skies in some way. I loaded the logs up into the drive and was looking at them as i moved them over.. This seems to stand out, but i am really not very good at this stuff. Really apologize for the log spam in KSP.log .. trying to get some outdated contract packs to work out so i can add scansat to the newest career. Most recent log is quite bloated, but the kopernicus log is tidy

Slow History: A real time no timewarp career
Fizzlebop Smith replied to EnderiumSmith's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
This is the joy I find in kerbal.. while I do engage in times warping. I do so on small scale ans run missions between maneuvers. I like my career games to have that organic feel. This is really great.. I enjoy reading it. I'm trying to get my first interstellar mod build perfect and then in going to try this. Keep it up because I need the inspiration!! -
Release KSP2 Release Notes - Update v0.2.2.0
Fizzlebop Smith replied to Intercept Games's topic in KSP2 Dev Updates
I would have LOVED to see the "mechnics" teach themselves. Too vad there is no goofy celebrity with a grill doing side commentary about how the Jallopy had shimmy along rear... blah. They called them dev blogs back before it morphed into a marketing visual aid instead of communications to the playerbase -
Words cannot what the silly space frogs mean to me. I am eternally grateful to any person trying to breath life into these beings. In whatever capacity served, thank you.

I have only been back into the gaming world fpr 2.5 years. I seem to recall a lot of games dropping a sale of some sort before the 1.0 push. This would align with what several have been saying about that rubber stamp... Not sure if that's the case.. an attempt for one last spike in "units ssold for the spreadsheets.

Missing Extraplanetary Launchpads Parts
Fizzlebop Smith replied to tomigambi's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Ive been trying to determine if it is related to the Community Categories Kit , but I think my memory is failing me, Do you have the specific filter CCK-no duplicates installed? I seem to remember this was the one causing me trouble. It used to cause some issues, but reading the thread seems to suggest most of the more common problems have been resolved. I remember being unable to manually search but was able to find the part in the associated extension filter. Adding the various filter extensions allows a sub directory of parts to open with filters like manufacturer, resource, misc... the parts were lumped into a generic one i believe. I created my own category through the in game UI option for filter extensions and added the various missing parts from the from community I am wondering if it something to do with EL tags not being well defined. This is usually the case when parts mods dont work for the CCK. The community parts titles thread i linked above and are active threads. Try taking your question to one of these and im sure there will be more eyes crossing over it. You will probably get a good answer. If it requires writing a specific patch some one on one of these will be able to whip one up (probably) in a spoiler window and set you straight. Im not certain this is the case, but know asking the question again in one of those threads will work. This is also relatively new at 5 hours and will have someone better than me to help. Sorry, i tried skimming through the EP launch thread but am running out of time. -
Missing Extraplanetary Launchpads Parts

IIRC Custom Community Categories causes this to happen. I think there is a patch that will correct the problem but am not sure. -
There are some really cool seals in the world. I only deal in a handful of macro application but there a "Labyrinthine Seals" of different variations. I do not know what would be in place for some near future spin G system, but we have built several "expansion joints" for fluid systems that are large enough for people to walk through. There is no inherent rotational factor involved .. but the joint itself is capable. If one end or the other rotated it would function in this capacity. The expansion joint uses a labyrinthine variation. I haven't really googled space station parts, but i have seen analogous engineering application in some of the mining / pipeline products we have built.

(Sorry I'm Bored) -- Dizzy Kerman gripped the mid rail and propelled himself along Corridor EX_G-4 toward the 50m service bay ahead. One could barely tell that regulator was from an old washing machine, or would know that there was 300 miles of recycled tire tread within the walls. His giant flat forward creased, touched by the edges of a smile. Dizzy admired the corridor that stretched out before him. It was a living breathing beast of metal and ambition, the true testament to Kerbal engineering prowess. At the very least, their ability to put things together and hope for the best. He paused before the T-section to draw a deep, calming breath, his hand brushing against the four gleaming studs on his collar. The newest, a shiny testament to his promotion to **Captain Junior Grade**, still felt alien under his touch. Today was the day he would take command of his task group, and by the moons of Kerbin, he didn't want to look like a fool transitioning from the null-G corridor into the service bay. The spin gravity generated by the module's rotational velocity created a gravity gradient that had always eluded his ability to master. His thoughts wandered to a flickering light in the distance, a nagging reminder of maintenance deferred and tasks piled up. What initiative could he develop that would prevent such neglect among his fleet? Dizzy's mind raced with possibilities—automated repair drones, a checklist protocol, a motivational speech about the importance of screw tightening... Shaking his head, Dizzy gathered himself in the present moment and reached once again for the mid rail. With a practiced tug, he launched himself toward the service bay, his heart a drumbeat echoing in the vastness of space. Meanwhile,

I will be crushed should the forum fade away. I have reached out to the powers that be to see about absorbing server fees & making mods admin... Either my nobody status is at play... or there is no worry that the forum will go anywhere in the near future. I great appreciate those who have freely given their time to moderate this medium. I also want express a boundless appreciation and thanks to all those brilliant codes slingers that have contributing to the modding landscape of this great franchise. Whether you are a longstanding modder of the game or just a dabbler.. the prolific number of mods around are what make the game what it is.. I would also like to acknowlege any & all who came to my assistance over some issue that risked driving me apeexcrements Also, A great bug shout out and appreciation to those that have engaged with me in some form of camaraderie. Thank You All.. (It's 112°F here.. typos are cool mmkay) -
I definitely understand the sentiment. As dumb as I feel saying it.. I believe this fiasco has been a contributing factor in my own slump. We will miss you.. and thank you for mustering up the reserve to complete the update. You got your stamp on some awesome mods.. greatly appreciated

Yes. Life has a tendency to suck at times. The singular facet that every being shares with one another.. is pain. Knowing that every single person has experienced misery... keeps me grounded in those moments of my own pain. I used to write.. a very very long time ago. As I currently combat the most recent round of mental malaise I find myself furious with my inability to truly engage with the written word. Poetry no longer pours from my fingers like curse words flowing from the great Samuel L. Jackson's lips. It is likely the one thing that is most likely to contribute to a relapse. God how I wish the words would flow once again. As I struggle with the ability to find elegant wordplay and powerful prose.. I attempt to put pen to paper Indubitably deeper, Backward down. I spiral slowly, without a sound Wholly delivered, Into silence profound
