Presumably it would only be worth it for some block buy but i dunno. Its mentioned briefly in the payload planners guide which isnt too hard to find online. My fascination is unconditional (there is one big exception, not gonna say what it is). Not saying you can’t have your favorites. But there is a vibe test, and I will know when you fail it. I sincerely apologize if this is a stupid thing to post about or if it's the wrong place for a question such as this. It isn't really an issue as far as performance goes, it just tends to ruin the experience of the mod when all retro thrusters (only for this mod) are constantly showing exhaust plumes even when inactive. Tried Titan I first, that didn't work. Titan I upper with Titan II lower didn't work either. Tried a Ablestar on top of a Castor boosted Redstone, that didn't work, so fully decided to put some power behind it and go with Delta 900. Finally made it into a low 110 x 100 km orbit. I have actually launched Mercury to orbit on Titan I several times on KSRSS. I have also done Mercury Jupiter for high altitude sub-orbital. I have a whole new appreciation for Al Shepard and Gus Grissom and the G’s they endured during reentry on their sub-orbital flights.
