  1. Sounds like a possible asset conflict, or something to do with scaling? I'd like to see this too! Whatever it is, it's likely easily fixed in-game with Kerbal Konstructs.
  2. there are many games where you have to make choices about what skills/powers to unlock... Maybe this tech tree went there? Also--aren't there science generating features or equipment like labs?
  3. USI Sounding Rockets is possibly correct scale, but certainly a more "whimsical" style. The fins and such certainly resemble the "real deal." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sounding_rocket#/media/File:Black_Brant.jpg
  4. Yes! This idea is back! We've forever needed this to log action groups, etc.
  5. Hah! Nice. Are these values grabbable/adjustable via action groups or automation tools? Dynamic limiting based on speed or even just a hand-toggle would be awesome Thanks for this one, Snark! Pretty spiffy.
  6. Yeah, I was confused for a moment when the KWP page went up -- "wasn't LGG doing that update?" Your tweaks sound far more compelling than a simple recompile. Reinflate away!
  7. This last year flashed by in some contexts, and watching the KSA put up some amazing launches was inspiring. Though everything has come back down so far, there's some exciting possibilities for the future! I'll be sure to pick up a new KSA hat and tee shirt the next time I visit the visitor center.
  8. Even as far back as KSP1.8.1's version? @Starhelperdude--double check Kopernicus version to make sure it's apt for game version.
  9. IT must be a solid rocket? Those will just keep burning with infinite fuel active, no matter the throttle setting. Otherwise I'm not sure. Clearly the goal would be to not need infinite fuel.
  10. OMFG. Hhahahahaha. This is mad and brilliant.
  11. That's quite a craft. I'm getting wildly anxious about the idea of trying to fly / land it in FAR.
  12. Awesome! And it's also ironic in Snark's case that, while being a curmudgeon, is hardly ever a snark.
  13. I was using and loving the soundtrack editor in my previous KSP version/ playthroughs -- It's just a fluke I haven't started again! Glad someone caught this and bought it up already.
  14. I know we're drifting away from BBT-centric stuff, but in Chatterer's case, the current .version file has the min version as 1.8 still (even though it's had a .net update, and probably a better idea to use the previous one in a pre-KSP1.9 game). CKAN is simply reporting as it's told. Regardless, if you spot an error, report it on the CKAN thread, and they can fix/override the listing. [edit] ahh-- I see. It's showing a range. It's probably something the CKAN folks can better fix. --or snark rebuilds BBT to include a version file, etc.
  15. This rang a bell since I was just looking at BBT the other day --- the most recent update (bbt v1.10) back-ported compatibility to KSP1.8 so CKAN is correct in this case. The way I interpret that column is "Max-compatible KSP Versions"
  16. And, likewise in 1.11, though I didn't check the console to see if anything was spamming in-game.
  17. I'm sure a lot of us would be interested! -- which parts/packs are you looking at of Eskandre's? If it goes well, this could easily spin off into a community config pack. That's definitely what the TU author has in mind.
  18. It literally already is. It's all right here, ready to download
  19. Pretty! I've not tinkered with this yet, but if you dig into the files, you'll see a pair of DDSs for each implemented part. The part configs themselves seem a bit more involved --- some have part variants *and* recoloring options?
